It was the day of the China game and the team was so anxious about the game. It was also the day before Toby's birthday.
Although Cheney and Pinoe were carded out, they stuck with the team for moral support.
"Lex! Wake up! It's game day!" screamed Tobs.
"Ya,ya,ya, I'm up. " said Alex sleepily.
"Ladies! Team meeting in five! Save 'whatever you're doing' for later." said Abby through the door.
* five minutes later*
"Listen up. Today we don't have Pinoe and Cheney with us on the field, so Tobin, you better step it up." said Jill in all seriousness.
"Yes, coach." said Tobin.
Alex was fouled, in result for a penalty kick taken by Carli.
Alex's POV
The ball was forecfully shot by Carli to the left and it was like slow motion but it went by so fast.
Since I was in my own zone, I stood with my eyes popping. Toby ran over and jumped on me giving me a bear hug. I could barely breathe.
*After the game* out of Alex's POV
Baby Suirrel came dashing into our room and we screamed with fright.
We were getting ready to go out to the club near by to celebrate.
We arrived at the club and O'Solo and Talex took their seats next to eachother, as usual.
Kelley and Alex left to go dance since Hope and Tobin hated dancing.
"Hey, what is Alex doing?" Hope said furiously.
"Hope, calm down. They're just dancing. I've learned from experience not to get angry." said Tobin sincerely.
Hope, not listening, ran over there and slapped Kelley in the face.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU KELLEY?" Hope yelled.
Kelley ran out of the club in embarassment.
"Alex, let's go catch up to her." said Tobin.
"Wait, Tobin, are you upset with me?" asked Alex.
"Lex, you were just celebrating. I'm not gonna get upset about you for just dancing with your friend." said Tobin.
They gave each other a quick kiss that had so much passion.
Alex knew she wasn't angry.
They arrived at the hotel, and went to Kelley's room that she shared with Hope.
Tobin busted the door open and Talex ran into Kelley's arms.
"Kelley don't cry." said Lex.
They finally got her calm.
"Hope made a mistake. She overreacted like I have done before. We learn from our mistakes. Kelley, I told Alex that I wasn't mad at her. Do you know why? Because she was just celebrating with her best friend. You guys weren't drunk. You were just-" Tobin was cut off.
Alex and Kelley started laughing.
"Wh-why are you guys laughing?" asked Tobin.
"HAHAH GOT YA TOBIN!" yelled Alex.
"WHAT THE HELL? EXPLAIN NOW!" declared Tobin.
"It was just a prank. I dragged Alex into it. She didn't want to do it because she thought it would go wrong. I had the whole thing planned out. It was just a birthday prank. We just wanted to see how you react. I'm truly sorry if I offended you Tobin. Please, forgive me." said Kelley sincerely.
"You are forgiven, but Alex you're gonna get revenge for this." said Tobin.
"Uh-oh." said Alex.
