At only eighteen, Amelia Maddison had a great future ahead of her.
She was a smart, fun, and caring kind of girl who loved her life.

She had beautiful long fair hair and blue eyes, and an amazing smile, Amelia was only 5 foot 3 inches tall and was a perfect size 14.

She was doing a course at College, studying health and social care.
She was in a class of all girls and although she was loving the course itself Amelia couldn't stand her classmates, most of the girls in the class were darn right bullies, who loved to tease her and talk behind her back, she couldn't wait to get out of class most days.

Amelia also had a part time job in a nursing home, which she loved, most of the time, except for when the other staff were being clicky, the main thing that she loved about her job was listening to residents telling her old stories of their once was life, she hated to think of them being stuck in that home just watching the world go by and felt sad for some of them that didn't even have a family to come and visit.

When Amelia had got home from being at college in the morning, and then at work in the afternoon, she quickly ran upstairs to get undressed so that she could jump in the shower. "Great she thought I've got a whole two weeks off."

When Amelia got out of the shower, she blow dried her hair, then got dressed.
"Now I must pack my suitcase Amelia thought to herself" as she was going to Lindos an island in Rhodes the capital of Greece with her best friend ever Diana white.

She couldn't wait to get to the fabulous hot climate and embrace the warmth of the sun, with a cool drink and a good book to read.
Amelia jumped on her bed to lie down, "I need a break, some time away on my own where I can think and clear my mind of this last year, "she thought." it had been a nightmare, one she would never forget.

Amelia lived in a small seaside town called Half Moon Bay. She had lived there all her life, with her mother Maria and her two other siblings Rebecca and Daniel.

Amelia was also very close to her grandma and grandad, Rita and Jack, and her two aunts Angela and Clara and her uncle Mick.

It was a great little seaside town, where everyone knew each other and people were very helpful and friendly.

Amelia loved going to the fairground and swimming baths, and it was at the fairground that she first met her best friend Diana white, they would meet up every weekend and go on all the rides together.
They both got on so well together from the very start.

Diana had short red hair and green eyes and was slightly taller than Amelia, she made Amelia laugh so much.
