A secret society cloaked by a millennium of discrete practice, evading the history books and entering the human timeline as mythical lore and folk tale creatures. All the while, Hollywood portrayed them as savage, bloodthirsty beasts. Beasts that walked and talked like men during the day would transform into wild half-men, half-wolf beasts when a full moon would rise high in the night. Knowing no bounds or control over their actions, they succumb to their blood lust. If the human world only knew what lurked in the shadows of the night and walked among them during the day, would they know the sheer terror behind the meaning lycanthrope. In layman’s terms: werewolf.

Allie Scott unwittingly is thrown into a secret society that she never knew existed, all the while ignorant to her role in this clandestine society. She discovers secrets, truths, and lies within her family. And is completely dumbfounded when she meets a young man, no older than she, injured and telling her things she had only read about in books. Where will her adventure take her in discovering the truth about herself, her past, and the role that she must play in this secret society of werewolves?

Jack Woodlock is on the run for his life as he is considered a dead man walking by the Night Devil's, a viscous werewolf hunting gang. He was just proclaimed the new Alpha of the Shadow Pack when the Night Devil's came bombarding, uninvited, onto their doorstep. Jack was left with only two choices: flee -- abandoning the only pack and family he ever had, or die alongside the rest of his pack, including his mother, father, and bride-to-be Krystal. While on the run, being hunted like a viscous beast, he stumbles upon a small farm home: a human dwelling. Injured and grief stricken, he is left to lick his wounds with a rather strange human girl and her family at his aid. Will Jack reap his sought revenge and start a new pack? Or will he be forever tormented by looking over his shoulder, on the run from the hunters? Furthermore, will he be able to help this strange human girl discover the truth about herself and her past?
