Summer Starts

Hiya! My name is Brooklyn Meimi. I'm just one of those normal girls with a history. We all have one story, I know some are worst then others. Anyways here's a little bit about me. I've got chocolate brown curly hair. I'm really short and I've got brown eyes. I love music and food. Volleyball is my favorite sport. I'm a little socially awkward. The only person I'm comfortable around is my best friend Sara Rocko. We grow up together and she's always there when I need her. Enough of this though you'll learn more about me soon enough.

Brooklyn's POV
I woke up to Sara jumping on me. She spent the night because we're heading to the beach. We spend all day there. It's the hangout for high school kids. We both just graduated and haven't decided where to go to college. The beach is ten minutes away from my house. This is how we spend our weekends when we don't work. She works at the local dinner. I work for my parents. They own the family business. I don't want anything to do with it. But it's brings money in. As soon as I can get a better job. I'm going to leave. Sara already has her bikini on. I finally pushed her away. Then got up and got ready. I had my short jean shorts with a All Time Low T-shirt. Underneath was my favorite bikini. We got our stuff together and left in my car. My parents are never home and they really don't care. I never really have had to ask. All they care about is the business. It's always "Sure sweety!" or "Here's the money." That didn't bug me much growing up because I am the only child. But I kinda wish my parents were more active in my life. I would've never did some things.

Sara's POV
Me and Brookie have been best friends for a long time. Well ever sense the hospital. Our moms meant in the halls of the hospital. We had play dates and dressed up to match. Then we went to school together. We're always by each others side less we're working. Outta the two of us Brookie is the Rebel. But anyway we're off too meet up with my boyfriend. His name is Dan and we've been together for 2 years. We meant at a party that Brookie called me to come pick her up. Her ex dumped her and I came to her rescue. We stayed up that night at her house. It was funny movies and eating ice cream. Anything else to keep her distracted. After that me and Dan got to talking. He to me on a date and after that we've been dating sense. A week ago he gave me a promise ring. But he's been acting really weird lately. Brookie has noticed how he's been too. I just don't know where we're going wrong. I assume we'll find out today. Brookie is going to question him and if he don't we're doing more investigating. By investigating I mean following him around.

Brooklyn's POV
Sense we're going to the beach just so I can have a little talk with Sara's boyfriend. I figured the beach would be an open place. Case I have to knock him out. We pulled up in our usual spot. Dan was there with a group of five. All boys with one girl. The one guy looked like I seen him from somewhere. We walked up and Dan immediately hugged Sara. He told that he needed to talk to her. Dan introduced us all and then took Sara off somewhere. The girl is Rydel and the one brunette is Ellington Ratliff. They're dating and the rest are Rydel's brothers. Dan and them are all cousins but Ellington. Her brothers names are Ross, Rocky, and Riker. Their in a band together. I guess they have another brother named Ryland. Ryland is the youngest and he'll be coming later. Finally, the love birds come back and both of them seem happier then ever. That put a big smile on my face. I wish that I had a relationship that goes as strong as theirs. Being my past mistakes and relationships I need something for the better. But I've finally learned to wait and not chase love. Anyway, The other brunette Rocky was stealing glances at me. I gave Sara a look of we're talking later. Which also means sleep over. I turned to Rydel and I asked if she wanted to spend the night. Rydel gladly accepted the invite. I figured we could have more fun. So we all started finding a spot in the sand. There wasn't a lot of people not like normally. This came easy for us today. We placed our stuff down. Rydel said she needed to change into her bikini so she can tan. So she asked Sara to go with her. Dan, Ross, Ellington, and Riker walked off I stayed back with Rocky. I made the mistake of pulling my cover up clothes off without Sara around. Shortly after like normal i get random guys coming up for my number. I got them to go away. But one came back. Tried getting my number but tried touching my ass. Rocky immediately comes in pushing the guy away. Pulling me over to his chair and making me sit. He straight up asks "Why the hell are they all over you?" I say "Rocky it's nothing normally Sara is around." Then he says "Brooklyn you just seem like a dick magnet." I see Rydel and Sara walking back. I tell him "I tell him "Then care to explain the boner you had when I walked over from my car." Rocky comes back with "I only get a boner when a really pretty girl comes around." Rocky shut up and sat in the sand. Rydel and Sara finally Arrived. I felt my cheeks blush a light shade of pink.

Rocky's POV
I just like this girl ever sense she stepped out of the car. I got her to blush that must be a good thing. What I can't figure out is why those guys immediately came up to her. They were all over her. Sara and Brooklyn went to find Dan. It was just me and Rydel. "Oh Rydel! I think I found love in a hopeless place." I say. She immediately says "Woah bro chill with the Rihanna reference." I scream "NEVER!" We both start busting out laughing. Ellington walks over shaking his had at us. He picks Rydel up over his shoulder. He runs off with her to the water. I decided it was time to surf. I picked up my board and went into the water. The waves were dead today but the boys and I still tried getting a wave. Then we weren't getting anywhere so we did shore races. We have to paddle with our hands out and paddle back the same way. It came down to Dan, me, and Ellington. Riker's big idea was to have the girls ride on the back or the front. Dan got Sara and Ellington got Rydel. I got stuck with Brooklyn. Rydel set in front of Ellington. Then Sara set in front of Dan. Brooklyn sat right behind me. It was her choice. One very distracting choice by her part. Riker went over the rules and we began the race. I decided it be fun to try and tip the board. Brooklyn freaked and let out a loud pitched scream. "Awwee is the princess afraid of water?" I say. She says with a smart tone "Not if you are." Then she tips the board. We both come up at the same time. She starts giggling causing me to laugh. I swim a little closer to her. Then she moves away flipping the board over. We both just decide to swim back to shore. Riker declares us the losers for not getting back on. We just laughed it off.

Brooklyn's POV
Sara and Dan get back and give me a smirk. And I just shook my head. After that Sara decided it was time to bury me in the sand. That kinda was bad cause sand is now in places it shouldn't be. She made me go with it. It will never be the first time. She's so getting revenge. Oh wait Dan's been wanting pictures of her sleeping. This is just going to be a good day. I can't wait for tonight. After that we cleaned our stuff up cause it was starting to get late. Dan also is treating everyone to ice cream. I haven't had ice cream in awhile. Chocolate being my favorite I got chocolate. I sat at the bench away from everyone while I waited for my ice cream. Mine was ready Rocky brought it over. But my shirt got covered with ice cream. I was so ready to start screaming but I couldn't for some reason. Then Rocky hands me napkins. I whipped it off the best i could. All of a sudden he pulls his shirt off and says "Here, It's the least I could do. I'll go get another chocolate cone for you." I just smiled and said "Okay" He walked off and I went and changed into his shirt. I came back few minutes later he's leaning back against the wall. The cone in his right hand. I really found this attractive because I never really noticed his abs till now. But I pretended like I didn't notice. I walked up and sat down in the bench a few steps away. Rocky followed then I said "I'll send the shirt home with Rydel." He says Don't worry about it. Keep it. Looks better on you." Rocky let out a nice big smile making eye context. I just smiled back and said "Alrighty then I'll keep it." He let out a little chuckle as I finished my cone. Then we joined the rest of the group. Sara smirked at me again. Then Rydel, Sara, and Me went to my car. As soon as we shut the doors Sara slammed me with all kinda questions. I just yelled "Save it for the bedroom." Rydel and Sara just busted out laughing with how serious I said it. But I really didn't find it funny.

Sara's POV
I seriously need to know what's going on between her and Rocky. It's really obvious they like each other. But whatever least I got to talk to Dan. Turns out Dan's cousins are in town. They usually never are in town. This is the first sense we've started dating. They've been out touring other countries. He wanted a little time with them before he introduced us all. Their gonna be in town for about a month. This outta be a fun summer. Rydel, Brooklyn, and me seem to get along great. I also see a romance coming along.
