chapter 1: A human conversation

To Earth a boy named Miles finished school, he says to his friend, "Man, am I happy school is over."

His friend said, "Why, you will have to come back tomorrow?"

"Yes i know. I am just happy there's no more school today!" he laughed and continued, "Gotta go! See ya later James!"

Few blocks later Miles arrived at his home, "Nothing like being home." he walks inside and says to himself, " since I'm not hungry I should go change out of this raggedy, old uniform."

Afterwards Miles walked outside into his memorial flower garden saying, "Today i have feeling that something good is going to happen." he took a deep breath and continued out into his garden, but then something caught his eyes in the tulips while watering his cousin's tiger-lilies, "Oh my god."

He ran over to Liesel's unconscious body lying on her stomach, which wasn't in demon state, and quickly took out his phone out, dialing 911, "Yes I have found somebody in my backyard, and she is looking to highly injured." panicked, Miles quickly gives the person his address.

"We are sending an ambulance now. Do you know how to check vitals, is she showing any signs of life?" asks the person on the other side of the line.

"Hear let me check." he puts the phone down and looks towards Liesel's body. Miles flips her over to see if she is breathing, he checks her vitals and feels a faint thumping, he sighs in relief, "yes she is alive but very weakly, you must hurry."

Miles thinks to himself, so much for that good thing happening today.

"Is she going to be o.k.?" asks Miles anxiously to the doctor.

"Yes, your girl friend is going to be just fine."

"Wait she's not my-"

The doctor interrupts, "So your girlfriend is going to have to go home with you today."

"Wait...WHAT?! come home with me, why?!" Miles nearly yells loud enough to be echoed through the hospital.

"well o.k. i guess we'll just unhook her machines from the wall and wait for her to die." states the doctor walking away.

"Fine! I'll take her, only because I have to." sneered Miles.

The doctor stops in place, "thanks, we will drop her off at her house at seven o'clock in the morning." he walks away thinking to himself, I can't believe he felt for that.

Next morning Miles sat down on the steps of his porch talking on his phone, waiting for the ambulance, Jane, on the other side of the line says, "What, why?!"

"I can't explain now. Just tell the teacher i won't be in school this week!" replies Miles.

Jane responds, "But-"

Miles interrupts, "Bye!" and quickly hangs up. I cannot believe this is happening, Miles thought to himself while repeatedly checking his watch impatiently; tapping his foot up and down until there was a sign of the ambulance rushing down the road.

"About time, I was just about to go inside." Miles says walking out onto the sidewalk.

When the ambulance came to a stop the doctor from last night came out holding a clipboard, "So here is where you live a see, anyways; the patient, where do we put her in your house?" asks the doctor impatiently.

"Down the hall, last door on the left." sneered Miles.

"Thanks." responded the doctor thinking to himself, how mean!
