Venus sat under the ladder that led to the surface. She looked up at the light peeking through the crack in the manhole cover. She played with the string hanging off of her clan symbol sewed onto her blue jacket. ''Venus?" Leo stood a distance from her. "what are you doing?" he stepped closer. Venus looked up at him, "I was just-" She stood up. "Getting some fresh air- I'm just stressed with being the new leader and all". "What were you really doing?" Raph crossed his arms. "No I really was!" Venus said. "For being a bad girl and all, you sure aren't good at lying Blue" Donnie looked at Venus. She sank down, She faced the wall. A tear slipped down her face, "Fine-I'm running away" She whispered softly. "Why?" Leo asked. Venus avoid her siblings as much as she could at this point, She took a deep breath and squeezed her legs against her plastron. "Sensei, said I was supposed to put my team first" She started to cry. "So I am" "But why?'' Leo asked. "Something that can not be seen with the eye is there for, hard to understand" She managed a smile. "But I don't get it" Mikey mumbled. Venus narrowed her red eyes, and sighed. She looked up at the manhole, "I can explain it. you just wouldn't understand" She leaned her head towards the ladder. "But cant you show us?" Mikey asked, His Big blue eyes gleamed in the moonlight. She sigh and bent down in a puddle of water. She held her hand out and screamed just when the light touched the tip of her finger. She grew a long tale and spikes forced their way through her shell. Her eyes glowed a bright green. Her scream turned into a roar. "VENUS!" Leo shoved her hand away from the light. Her eyes dulled into a red amber again. She fell onto leo's lap. "See" She panted. "This isn't something that hides under beds. It can hurt you" She flared her fangs at leo. Leo stared at his twin, 'how is this possible? were related? does this mean I am a monster too?' leo thought. Venus' heart was beating fast. She started to realize what just happend. "I need to leave before I hurt you" She struggled to get up, But every part in her body hurt from her transformation. she let out a hiss of pain. "But what about your decision and ours in experience?"
