Chapter 2
** about a month later**
*Carries Pov*
I don't think I really knew what I got myself into when I made that deal with my client, Wendy.
But I also didn't know that Wendy and I would be friends, and she was a lot more than just that stereotypical 'pretty' girl.
Well now I was in front of a mirror observing my self in a tight black dress that cut off right before my knees, 4 inch sparkly high, what I like to call hooker heels, my long black hair that I usually have pulled back long and wavy, then my makeup done to a T.
I gotta say that I look like a real 22 year old for once in my life.
Wendy was currently behind me admiring the way I looked in the reflection of the mirror.
"Carrie you look flawless. Your dates going to love you." She stated. I laughed and shifted uncomfortably in my dress.
"Wendy I look like a damn hooker, any man in there 20's would. She laughed and shook her head.
"You don't look like a hooker. I can't see you butt or your boobs, you look classy for a 22 year old girl." She picked something up from the table and took a stand of my hair. She pulled it back and twisted it before clipping it down to my head with a beautiful hair pin.
"Now you look perfect." She told me and I could feel a blush creeping on my cheeks.
I glanced at the clock and realised we still had 30 minutes until my mystery man showed up at 8. I was hesitant to give him my address but Wendy assured me he was 100% safe.
"Wants some coffee?" I asked her.
"At 7:30?" She giggled.
"Why the hell not." She followed me out into the kitchen and I set up the maker with the first coffee beans I saw and turned to Wends.
"So how's Connor?" I questioned her.
I grin spread across her face and a look of love over took her features.
"He's phenomenal. I don't know how you do it Carrie Hicks, but you sure as hell found my soul mate." She grinned. I laughed slightly and got two mugs out.
"I don't even know either, it comes naturally." With that the coffee maker beeps and I take the glass pour thing out. I start to tip the pourer over and the dark brown liquid gushes out into the first mug which Wendy quickly takes. Then I pour it into the other one and she quickly takes that one too. I raise a eye brow at her.
"Coffee makes your breath smell bad." She states. I roll my eyes and put the coffee in my hand down then jump onto the counter.
"Your stupid." I laughed.
She glares at me then sips her brown goodness.
I shift awkwardly on the counter waiting for her to break the silence. But I guess I will instead.
"So how's my mystery man?" I question.
She grins. "He's honestly the best. We tried dating for like a month but honestly it was way to weird. We're best friends and you my dear are perfect for him."
I tap my fingers on the counter.
"What's his name what does he nlook like?" My brain was overflowing with thoughts about this man. Was this what my customers feel? It sure sucks.
"Harry. Harry Styles. But that's all I'm telling you!" She yells. I laugh then open my mouth to ask more but the doorbell rings. My eyes glance at the clock and I realise its only 7:45. He's 15 minutes early. I love that.
Wendy squeals and runs over to the door while I on the other hand calmly walk over to the fridge and grab a water bottle. I try to twist the cap off it it was so dang tricky! It was freaking impossible I swear. I keep trying to remove it, I even bang it against the table a couple of times but I think It was super glued on there.
"Need help love?" A husky British accent pipes up from behind me. When I turn around my eyes meet probably the most beautiful thing on the planet. He had a mop of curls and striking emerald eyes nobody could resist. He was wearing a dark blue, fitted button down shirt and tight jeans that just barely hugged his legs. I feel a slight tint spread onto my cheeks and I nod quickly handing him the bottle. Almost effortlessly, he pops it off and hands it back to me.
"I loosened it.." I mumble. He chuckles slightly.
"Im Harry by the way." He sticks out his hand. I grasp it then reply "Im Carrie."
"We'll Carrie." He winked. "Shall we get going to our destination?" He questioned. I nodded.
"Now where is that exactly at Harry?" I look up at him slightly. He smiled down at me.
"Now where would be the fun in that?"
