Synopsis:
This was probably the first song that I wrote that I loved. In high school I knew this girl who was going through some things. To put it cleanly, she wasn't happy. She was depressed and had all these things going against her, physical things like school (it was nearing the end of our senior year), and mental things. In the end I really liked this girl.
I remember being in class one day, our teacher had finished teaching for the day and it was pretty much a free period. All of this girls' friends were talking in a circle and she was sitting at the desk. Her head was faced down with her arms covering it. This scene broke me down, I knew she was upset. I remember asking her: "What's wrong?" and she replied "Nothing." I then asked her if she was ok, and she said "Yeah, i'm fine." I knew she was lying, my being the sucker I am just wanted to hug her and tell her that everything was gonna be ok. Thankfully it is!
I Can See It In Your Face
The Teardrops Falling Down
When Times Are Gray, You Hide Away Your Pain
There's Too Much Too Bear, At One Time
So Don't Fall Down, Into A Hole
Cause You Might Need Someone To, Get You Out
Whole, Unscratched And Un-torn
I'd Like to Think That You Could
Get Out, On Your Own
When Everyone Else Is Gone
I'll Be There, To Hold You Hand
I'll You See It Through
My Love
So Pick That Pretty Head Up
Live A Little Bit, Smile A Lot
Don't Kick Yourself For Your Mistakes
Cause' Everyone Does, Don't Be Ashamed
When You Find Yourself In Control
You Might Not Need Me Anymore
Cause' Someday, You'll Get Hurt
And You'll Know What To Do
You Won't Have To Call On Me
To Help You See It Through
I Just Don't Want To Loose You
My Love
