Chapter 17

~Ian/SSundee's POV~

I sigh as I hear someone knock on Seto and my one bedroom basement apartment. I get up from my desk and go answer the door. When I open the door, to my surprise, I find a red eyed Benja and a puffy face Baby Benja in his arms. (Baby Benja is Connor btw.) "Hey dood. What's up?"

Mitch sets Connor down and whips his eyes. "I was wanting to know if you and Seto could watch Connor while me and Ty go talk to Adam and Jace."

I look at the two of them. They look horrible. I think to myself. "Yea. Sure." I squat down in front of Connor. "You wanna go wake up Uncle Seto?" I ask as softly as I could.

He excitingly nods and runs down the little hallway to the bedroom. After a minute, I hear a thud, a groan, and Baby Benj yelling "get up".

I laugh and then look back at Mitch. I instantly drop my smile when I see his eyes tearing up. I wrap my arms around him and pull him close. "Shhhhh. It's okay, Mitch."

He takes a deep breath and nods. I let him go and he whips his eyes. "Thanks dood."

I nod. "No problem. Me and Seto love Baby Benja like our own nephew. "

Mitch half smiles. "Baby Benja. Ha. What you gonna do if me and Ty ever get any kids? Call them 'Baby Baby Benja?"

"Most likely. Lel." I see Mitch roll his eyes.

"Whatever. Anyways, I'll see you later. Thanks again."

"No problem. See you later." I stand there for a minute as I watch the still sad Benja leave. I sigh and shut the door. I hear footsteps. I turn toward the sound and see a sleepy Seto being pulled by a smiling Baby Benja. I smile at them. "Come on. Let's go play some Minecraft."

"YEA!!" Connor yelled making Seto jump a little. He takes off down the hall to my recording room.

I smile at Seto and walk up to him. "Come on, babe." I say as I kiss him on his cheek.

"Fine." he mutters in his sleepy voice. I smile again and lead the way to meet up with Connor.

~Mitch/BajanCanadian's POV~

I sigh before walking into Ty's bedroom. As the door swings open, Ty sits up and looks at me. He thoughtfully pats the spot on the bed next to him. I go and sit down beside him. I instantly bury my face into his shoulder. I feel him wrap his arms around my waist as I wrap mine around his shoulders.

"What's the matter, baby?" He asks softly.

I take a shaky breath before I begin. "Our mom, dad and sisters all d-died in a house fire. C-Connor blames himself for not trying to save them." I said trying to be strong and not cry.

"Shhh." He cooed. "Go ahead and let it out. I'm here for you Benja. Your commander is here."

I instantly start crying, and he pulls me closer to him.

"I'll protect you, and your brother." he starts. " I won't let anything happen to either of you. Connor means a lot to you and you mean a lot to me, so therefore he means a lot to me also. I love you both."

I pull away from his shoulder. "Your amazing, Ty. Thank you."

"No problem. Let's go talk to Adam and Jason."

"Hopkay." I smile. He smiles back, and kiss my forehead, before standing up and letting me go.

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO sorry I haven't updated in forever. I've had a lot of family thing to deal with, and I also started working which is why this is being posted on Tuesday instead of Saturday. Tuesday's are my new update days. Also, I know this overlaps alot with the last chapter but I wanted ya'll to know how one of the guys see them in this bad time.
