I've been on the run for days now. The monsters won't stop coming. I went on a mission, just for a few weeks, and when I'm a mile away from the borders, attacks, attacks, and not much of anything else. They keep on coming back, I don't understand. I kill them, again and again, but hey keep on regenerating! My sword should have done it. They would go to Tartarus and let me live my life in peace, right? WRONG. They can't give a demigod even a day of peace, much less a century. Oh, sorry diary, I forgot that I only just started you. I have to explain to you what these random phrases mean and what the Hades I'm talking about. Well, I'm a demigod. I'm have a Greek God or Goddess parent and I have mortal (human) parent. My dad is Poseidon but someone in my family I have no idea how many generations ago was a child of Athena. I go to a camp, Camp Half-Blood. It's a place where demigods like me train and learn to fight so that we can defend oursleves when not protected by the magical borders surrounding Camp Half-Blood. It's been what, five days since the beginning of my quest? Something like that. Annoying monsters keep attacking me. The minotaur (he doesn't deserve a capital letter) has attacked me twice already, a few dracaenae three times. Yeah, those annoying mons

Sorry that I didn't have time to even finish my sentence three days ago. The exact creatures that I was going to write (monsters) attacked me during the time that I was writing in my journal. I don't have much time to write right now, I just wanted to say sorry, to pieces of paper....Wow, I think I'm going mental. Well, today I can end on a happy note: Biyas!

I'm finishing my quest early! I can return to camp in eight days, assuming that I live that long. Camp Half-Blood is in Manhattan, believe it or not. So is Olympus actually. Olympus is on the 600th floor in the Empire State Building. (Or on top of it). At any rate, I left camp on the seventh (assuming that I calculated correctly) and it is now the 30th. So during 23 days I traveled from Manhattan to Morocco. Not bad. It will be pretty easy getting back in eight days since I'm the daughter of Poseidon. I can just control the water to get me to Long Island Sound in roughly 7 days and then I can walk to Camp. You must be thinking, if you can come back so quickly, how come it took so long to get there. It's because I was on the run from monsters and I wasn't always near the water. Anyways, I'll be writing in you more often diary, especially since I'll actually have some time to write in you, at least at Camp I will. Until next time diary.

Author's Note: These journal entries are created by me, though the story of demigods is not. The Greek Gods truly do exist and have children with mortals. These children are called demigods, or half-bloods if you prefer. These children have a sort of scent that monsters can smell. The more powerful the parent of the demigod, the stronger a scent. For example: a child of Demeter will not carry as strong a scent as a child of Zeus. Or a child of Hades will have a much stronger scent then a child of Dionysus. At any rate, these children of the Gods are in danger any time they come out of Camp Half-Blood. I, am a daughter of Poseidon and somewhere along my family line, there is a child of Athena. Which makes my scent very strong. At least the Mist covers things up for mortals. The Mist is a kind of magical veil that makes mortals see monsters as maybe just a rabid dog. Or maybe a Celestical Bronze sword will look like a pistol. I have no idea, since the mist doesn't change what demigods see. I hope this imformation is found useful to you. If you are a mere mortal, think of this as an interesting fiction story. If you think you're a demigod, pray you are wrong. If you find out you're a demigod, find a satyr quick (half man, half goat). You can find them in almost every school. They cover their hooves with fake feet. But it's usually not too hard to find them. They usually walk like every step hurts, and they eat pretty much anything. Try offering someone you think is a satyr a tin can and they might eat it, or at least try not to, but if you look closely at the tin can after, you might see little bite marks. At any rate, the satyr will guide you to camp once he is sure you are a halfblood. Once there, train so that you are prepared when you have to go out into the mortal world, where monsters will try to kill you, but with proper training, they will hopefully not succeed in doing so. And on that happy note: Biyas!
