Inner Mermaid

Chapter 1

Aquarina's POV (Aqua,Rina,etc...)
My name is Aquarina Waters.I have 2 older brothers named Carthage and Barse and 2 older sisters named Airavata and Arnurna. We are the children of the God and Goddess of the Sea,Poseidon and Amphitrite. We are the Princesses and Princes of the Sea.We are also immortal.We also have unique powers.

When a war came between the Mermaids and Dark mermaids,we were forced to flee to the land.Before we left,they gave us a necklace that will turn us into mermaid whenever we want to.They said that they will come back to get us.But they never came.

After many years,we adjusted to the life of Mortals.It was hard but we managed to survive.
(First day of school)
(Still Aqua's POV)
"Aqua,wake up!It's your first day in high school and you're gonna be late!" Carthage yelled at me when I was still asleep in bed."5 more minutes please."I said and yawned then went back to sleep.
My brother got really pissed off so he dragged me out of my room.Then he putted whipped cream on my face.I tasted it and woke up.
"That's better.Get your fins moving before you get late!And Ava (Airavata) will accompany you." My brother said in a not-too angry tone.
I ate my breakfast then took a bath then got ready for school.After I got ready,we went to Orion High School and University.

We,mermaids,aren't allowed to let the others know about us.When we arrived hurriedly went to the Registration Area to get my locker number and schedule.Then she went home

"Name please."said the receptionist." Aquarina Waters "I replied.Then spoke in a tired way." Here's your locker number and schedule."I said thank you.My locker number is 349.Because of my hurry,I bumped into someone."I'm so sorry.I didn't look where I was going."."It's fine.By the way,I'm Cartagh Wilkins.Nice to meet you." Of course I replied."Aqua.Aquarina Waters. "Then I suddenly found my locker number and said goodbye to him.I putted three my unneeded books.Set my password which is 3263,then scurried off to my first class which is French class.

Thank goodness that classes has not been started.I found an empty seat.Which is next to Cartagh.I immediately sat and waited for the teacher.When the teacher entered,we greeted him in French.Of course I studied French.

"Bonjour, Monsieur Brooklyn." All of us greeted then seated."Bonjour." "Now,in this class,I want you to talk only in French.Compris?" "Oui, Monsieur Brooklyn."

Cartagh's pov
I can't believe she sat beside me.I was in love with her at first sight.I wasn't really paying attention on what our teacher said.Instead,I focused on Aqua's lovely face.That I didn't notice that Sir Brooklyn was calling me.
"M. Wilkins!Vous ne faites pas attention!" "Qu'est-ce Monsieur?" "Quel est l' ainglas pour' << Angela etait dans le domaine heureux.>>" I didn't really know the answer until Aqua said something to me"The answer is Angela was in the field happily." I didn't know she was that good at French."La reponse est 'Angel was in the field happily,Monsieur. " I said."Bien fait,M. Wilkins." After that, the bell rang. And it means only one thing....
