Evie and Mal: In to a Wonderful mess!

Chapter 1: The Beginning of it all

Evie's Pov

I looked through my window watching the leaves blow away in the sky.I looked at the books in my arms and sat down on my bed.It was a nice quiet day where I had the whole room to myself.I decided to walk down to the Library to see if I could find any good books to read.Yet I don't really read I usually like to be outside and watch the clouds move in slow motion.But the only thing I saw out my window for the past week was rain.Drops of water dripping against the glass of the window.I still don't see Carlos anywhere.He promised we could study together for our test this week.I only had 2 days left to look through my text books.The last couple of days I have been working on a way to try to Carlos that I like him.Although I'm sure he doesn't like me back.There are like a hundred girls in Audoran Prep.So If he was to pick a girl he liked it would be one out of hundred.I sat down at one of the tables and pulled out one of my text books.I read through each page at least twice.It was only 10:30 AM.Not even close to lunch time.I finally saw Carlos walk in."Carlos your late."I frowned.Carlos sat next to me."I know but class started late so I had to stay longer.Sorry to keep you waiting."He stammered.I smiled."Shh!"The Librarian hushed.I rolled my eyes.The only other person here other than me and Carlos was Doug.He's the type you can get the answers off of.I saw King Ben walk in with Mal.Great just what I wanted.Mal and me recently got in a fight.So we haven't been talking since.I could see Mal glare at me as she walked past me.I glared back but with a meaner look.Carlos took my hand and held it for a second."Don't worry about Mal.She does her thing you do yours."Carlos smiled.I nodded and continued to study.After an hour I looked at Carlos who had fallen asleep.I had to admit I am tired too.I looked up at the clock to see it was almost 12:00.I would sit next Mal but I guess she rather sit with Ben.I nudged Carlos awake.He looked dead tired as a rat."Carlos are you feeling alright?"I asked.Carlos looked at me.I gasped at the image I was seeing."C-Carlos you have pink eye!"I screamed.The librarian jumped to how loud I yelled.Carlos jumped himself."I-I have pink eye?"Carlos asked."Yeah."I stuttered.Carlos was about to touch his eye but I stopped him."Don't touch it!Your gonna make worse."I frowned."Maybe we can tell FairyGod Mother."Carlos suggested.I rolled my eyes."What's Fairy Godmother gonna do about your pink eye?"I asked annoyed."She can use her wand and-"I cut him off."Theres no way she's gonna use her wand to heal your pink eye!"

3 minutes..........later

"Oh course Carlos I'll fix your pink eye.Let me just get my wand."Fairy Godmother walked off to get her wand."I stand corrected."I muttered trying to keep my voice from being heard."Told you so!"Carlos said in glee."Oh brother!"I rolled my eyes.About 3 minutes later Carlos had his eyes back to normal.Err sometimes that boy can be a handful!We walked to lunch and sat next to each other.I glared at Mal who came sitting right across from me."Hello Mal."I scowled."Hello Evie."Mal glared at me.I glared back with more of a meaner look."C'mon Carlos lets go eat somewhere else."I took one last look at Mal.Then turned around and kept walking.
