Stephen's POV
Right now I'm walking home from school.
It was a normal Monday nothing out of the ordinary happened.
I finished my homework at school , just because it wasn't much at all.
So , when I got home it gave me more time to play basketball.
~~~~~
I've been shooting for about 3 hours now.
So , I thought it was a good time to take a break.
I just sat down on the concrete, gently rolling the ball.
"Hi" , I heard a soft voice say.
I've never heard this voice , so I look up and it's a girl.
"Hi , who are you" , I say.
"My name's Abigail , what's your name?" , she said slightly smiling.
"Stephen , hey haven't I seen you around school?" , I said.
"Yes , we go to the same school , and I'm your next door neighbor." , she said laughing a little.
Her laugh was cute.
"Oh" , I said blushing.
"Your good at basketball" , she said.
"I'm not good enough" , I said.
"I see you from my bedroom window , I'm not stalking you or anything, but your good." , she said.
"You can say that bu-" , I was cut off.
"Why do you doubt yourself?" , she said curiously.
"I don't know , I just feel like I'm not tall enough or able to play the sport good." , I said.
"Well , Curry I know one day I'm going to see you in the NBA and you might not believe in yourself but I do , good night see you at school tomorrow." , she said while walking back to her house.
I was just smiling.
I liked her and I'm going to get to know her.
