Chapter 4

I wanted to get lost in them.....I wanted to swim in those eyes which were a sea green. But all this lasted for only a few minutes for the lady of my dreams whizzed past me like a whirlwind.
At that moment I felt like I lost all my senses for I thought about nothing other her. I dropped all that I held in my hand and did what my heart told me to. I followed her. She was running as fast as a cheetah. I did not give up, I ran after her like theres no tomorrow.
"Stop, please", these words got her to halt much to my relief. She turned around and again I was left spellbound by her beauty. She looked baffled. I took this as my cue to explain.
"Look, i know me stopping you like this doesn't really make sense right now but I have no idea myself where this will take me. But I wanna be totally honest and ask you....."will you marry me?"
She looked completely dazed and suddenly my cheeks were greeted by a hard slap. With that done she turned on her heels and scurried away while I stood there hopeless and....heart broken, maybe!? Was this the end? Will I never meet her again? I could only rely on the almighty and leave my fate which lies in his hands.
With that, I walked back to the party.
