Part 2 ; Help Me

C H A P T E R TWO

I took my key out, inserted inside of lock and open the door to my house.
My mom & dad both owns a restaurant far away from our house. They usually finish work at 10 and comes home at 11.

I took my phone and called my friend.

She picked up.
" What's up E.Jae. "

" Hey EunSuh, I bought the Ouija
board. "

I could tell that she was chocking on water.
" What?! Are you nuts? "

"No I'm not nuts, I bought it for 20$ and I want to try it out all by myself."

" Bruh, you're such a dumbo you know you can create the Ouija board on a piece of paper or on a big box of pizza wow E.Jae use your head man you know you can buy yourself some fancy rices cakes with that money by the way someone told me it wasn't a good idea to play alone. "

" YOUR TELLING ME NOW THAT I COULD MAKE THE GAME FOR FREE? UGH. "

I sigh
" And I don't give a damn if I have to play it with friends, family members, my dog, my goldfish I  just want to do this alone because I want to see if it's real and it works. "

" Dude that sh** IS real and I swear to god if you tell the spirits - "

Once I heard her say the word SPIRIT, I automatically ended the call and hid my phone under the mattress.

That h** just hung up on me?
Damn, that girl is in trouble. I NEED TO SAVE HER LIFE BEFORE SHE GETS POSSESSED.

I opened the box and carefully took the plank out. It was made out of hard dark brown wood, marked with the letters of the alphabet in gold, the numbers from 0-9 in silver, the words "yes", "no" and "goodbye" in white.

I examined to see if there was anything else inside of the package, there was a planchette and a paper with rules written on them.

I read the rules out loud:

NEVER USE OUIJA BOARD ALONE.
People who are not psychic (like most of us) wouldn't have enough energy to create a session when alone. Without a group, little to nothing will ever happen.

BE SERIOUS BECAUSE IT'S NOT A GAME
Being in a serious mood ensures your natural psychic defenses are turned while you're talking to the dead.

ALWAYS SAY GOODBYE AT THE END
Mischievous or negative ghosts will refuse to say Goodbye. This is like a stubborn child refusing to leave the store until you get them candy. You take the kid out of the store just like you put the planchette down to Goodbye.

NEVER USE THE OUIJA BOARD IN YOUR HOME.
The negative energy from bad ghosts can affect you. You're at rest and want to feel comfortable in your home, a place where you're most vulnerable. The last thing you want is negative energy swirling about, affecting your mood, causing problems in your family, and nightmares while you sleep. "

I chuckled and flushed the paper in the toilet.
" That's bullsh**. I'm doing it my way. "

I sat on my bed with the board on the mattress. I lit candles around me room, I place both of my hands on the planchette and move it in a circular motion three times.
" Is anybody there..? "

After 5 minutes, no answers.

" Would anybody like to talk to me..? "

After 20 minutes, still no answers.

" Hello? Is anybody there? "

" HELL YEAH SOMEONE'S HERE"
EunSuh kicked the door to my bedroom. " Oh my god. EunJae, you are becoming a lunatic. What the hell are you doing? END THE GAME
NOW. "

I sigh.
" Goodbye. "

Suddenly the planchette was moving and got placed on " No. ".

I and EunSuh looked at each other petrified.
" Peace out E.Jae I'm leaving your house, oh here's rice cakes and a bubble tea I bought for you. PEACE I'M OUT HOMIE! "
And she started running like a gazel.

Ugh. Did she really fell for what happened?

" Oh, so it's now that you're talking to me? 'Spirit' "

The object that my hands were on moved to " Yes " then spelled out.
' H - E - L - P - M - E '

I was shocked.
" W-Well.. I'm sorry I can't help you...
GOODBYE HOLY SPIRIT. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. "

In my head the game ended, but for the guest, no. I could feel his presence in my house. I felt lightheaded and dizzy.
I wanted to call my mom so that she can buy me some medicines but I got a million of texts from a stranger.

Who's Byun BaekHyun?

B.B: Help me.
B.B: Help me.
B.B: Help me.
B.B: Help me.

I was so confused. I texted him back:

P.E: Who are you?

He saw my text and replied.

B.B: OUIJA.
B.B: Help me.
B.B: I'M WAITING.
B.B: Help me.
B.B: I'M STILL HERE.

Is he the person I reached out while playing the game?

Should I continue the game?
Or just ignore his presence?
If I ignore him, he'll probably
leave right?
