Chapter 3 First kiss

I sit quietly in the car. I'm not sure what to say so I go with things I've heard.

"So is it true you kiss on the first date?"
I fiddle with my fingers worried about his answer.

"Yeah usually, why?" I can hear the smirk on his voice.

"I was just curious because I don't"
I play with a piece of my hair.

"Guess you'll have to live with it"

"Not really if I don't want too" I look down biting my bottom lip.

"Why don't you?" We're at a stop light now and I can feel his eyes on me.

I don't really wanna tell him it'd be my first kiss but I also don't want to be forced to kiss him. I don't even think he'd stop if I told him but I guess I have to try.

"I don't want to kiss you germ invested mouth"

He rolls his eyes. "Well at least it's not something stupid like your first kiss" He laughs but I stay quiet and he stops and looks at me. He parks the car. "Wait is it your first kiss?"

I grab the handle planning a escape but he grabs my hand and holds it still. "Perrie?"

"Fine yes it's my first kiss" I sigh.

For a minute I swear I see something sweet but then it's replaced by a smirk. "Well this should be fun then"

"Ugh!" I smack his hand away and get out of the car slamming the door.

"Hey slow down" He catches my hand again. I'm about to smack it when camera flashes go off. I casually lead him inside and let go of his hand as soon as we're inside. He laughs. "Am I really that bad?"

"Yes you are" I look over the menu biting my lip as I decide what I want to eat.

He's staring at me but once I look up drops his eyes to the menu. "So what's good here?"

He strokes his chin for a minute. "You might like the grilled chicken"

"Sounds good" I put the menu down. The waiter appears and asks what we'd like to drink.

"I'll take a sweet tea with lemon"

"I'll take a beer"

I roll my eyes. "What?"

"Really? A beer?"

"Fine I'll take a sweet tea"

"Better"

The waiter walks away and I debate on a side salad or a cup of soup. Hmm decisions decisions...

"So Perrie tell me about yourself" He rests his chin on top of his hands.

"Like what?"

"Family?"

"Two siblings a older brother and a little sister. She's adopted but I love her the same. My brother Ethan is twenty five, my sister Lilliana is six. We grew up in Florida, my parents now live in here in California. Ethan moved to New York but he visits once every two or three months. I'm close with both my siblings and I'm very close with my parents as well"

His face is serious the entire time I'm talking. When I mention how my family is so close he smiles. Not a smart butt smile either a nice one.

"Do you have a picture of you three?"

"My parents and I or my siblings and me?"

"Your siblings and you?"

"I think so" I pull out my phone and scroll through my photo album searching for one of my favorites and show him the one of Lilliana and me kissing Ethan's cheeks.

"Awe she's a cutie"

"Yeah, a sweetheart too" I put my phone away and our waiter returns with drinks.

"What can I get you guys to eat?" He pulls his pad and pen out.

"I'll have the grilled chicken with broccoli"

He scribbles it down then turns to Harry. "I'll have the steak and potatoes"  Once again he scribbles stuff down and walks away.

"So we covered family, any exes?" He raises a eyebrow.

"One we'd been together a year he cheated on me and I dumped him"

"That's all?"

"Yeah he wasn't worth the time, I mean obliviously I was more into him and he was more about how much sex and stuff he could get between the two of us"

"So your not a virgin but you still have you first kiss?"

"No I have both still probably why he cheated. He was always horny and I was always innocent"

"Well then"

The food arrives and we dig in.

"So do you like it?"  His green eyes sparkle as he stares into mine.

"Yes, you were right it's delicious"

We finish our food and Harry pays the bill. He helps me out of the seat holding my hand as we walk out back to the car.

He opens the door and I climb in. He gets in we buckle up and begin driving.

"So wanna do something else?"

I shake my head. "No, I have to be up early so I should get home and get ready for bed"

"Alright if you say so"

He turns the radio on and Black Magic by Little Mix is playing I sing song of course.

"Take a sip from a secret potion, I'll make you fall in love
From a spell that can't be broken, one drop should be enough
Boy you belong to me, I've got the recipe and it's called Black Magic"

"You have a nice voice"

I begin blushing. "Thank you"

"Do you like having the name Perrie?"

"Yeah I do but it's my middle name"

"So what's your first name?"

" Layla, my parents wanted all the girls to have first names that started with L and the boys names to start with E"

"That's interesting that they picked letters"

"Yeah their unique I guess" I shrug my shoulders.

We pull up outside our condo and I get out of the car. Harry meets me and walks me to the door.

"Goodnight Harry" I smile. He leans down and kisses my cheek softly. "Goodnight Perrie"

He walks back to his car and I wait for him to drive off. I walk through the door and Tess is right there a huge grin on her face.

"Sooo tell me everything!"
