As I got ready for school I couldn't help but think about who it would be, when I asked my friend to set up a blind date for me and I didn't care what gender it was I would like them to be decent looking but I'm mostly after personally more than looks

It was bothering me that I might not live to the others expectations, or am I not good enough, look wise. A knock at my front door pulled me from my thoughts, it must be my cousin/best friend. I walked over from where I was putting my books in my bag and answered the door, I was right it was ryan a.k.a my cousin.

"Hey ryan, good morning" I smiled at him

"Good morning to you to Aaron" he smiled back at me, I invited him inside and fished what I was doing.

"Are you excited about the date?" He questioned me and a fant blush sprawled across my face to the question, "I set it up for after school at 5:30" he added, I rubed my head nervously.

"I...uh, I'm kinda nervous, could you at leat tell me if it's a guy or girl so I know what to expect...er, something" the blush that was still present darkened, he chuckled softly.

"Alright, it's a guy and I think you'll really like him! He's cute and he has a really good personality and is funny!" He chirped, my eyes widened he sounds really cool. Hopefully I'll be good enough for him. I didn't realize that I spoke that last part of my thoughts, and Ryan patted my back "you'll be fine I think he'll adore you" I blush deeply again, and pick up my bag and we head to the bus...

~~~~~~~~~Later that day~~~~~~~~~
At lunch, I was sitting outside at one of my favorite trees that blossom stays all year long. I don't even know how it works it must be from the magic in the area. You see ever since the war with the dragons started magic in urban areas has been scarce so seeing this tree here with a bloom all year...feels peaceful. Unlike other people I think the dragons are right, all we're doing is hogging land and not even sharing it with them. We can at least work with them, it's stupid In my mind.
Someone sitting next to me snapped me from my thoughts. I turned to see who it is, I didn't recognize who it was.
"Uh hello?" The boy sitting next to me looked up shocked as if not knowing I was there, then I noticed a few silent tears roll down his face. He hugs his knees and hides his face mumbling something that I couldn't pick up. I suddenly felt really bad, and the kind caring side of me wanted to confert and help this sad boy next to me. "What's wrong?" I said in a soft sweet caring voice, he muttered again. "What's that I couldn't hear you?" I spoke now in a silly tone, poking his side softly causing a soft giggle to come from him. He lifted his head wiping his tears smileing.
"Thank you, you know you don't need to help me right?" He said softly
"I know but I can't see someone in pain or misery" I smiled brightly at him with my eyes closed softly, when I opened them again the expression he was giving me was cute he looked confused, flustered, shocked and admiring. He just stared at me for a moment before looking forward.
"Sorry if I'm a bother"
"Your no bother...I just noticed something..." i stated, he looked at me confused. "I don't think I know you?"
"Well I don't know you ether " he smiled at me, then he held out his hand "my name is Marin lake, Blackwood, you?"I took his hand and smiled
"Aaron michael, Chapman"
"That's a nice name Aaron " he smiles
"Yours to" I smile back at him, we talk untell lunch was over. Then the rest of the day crawled on, and the final bell of the day rang. I got ready and as I put my stuff in the locker and Ryan walks up.
"Hey Aaron ready to go to the date?" He fixes the binders he was holding on his hip. My face heats up remembering that is tonight, the day distracted me.
"Yeah..." I shut my looker door, we head to my car. He insisted he drives I let him, I got into the passenger seat he pulled a blindfold out of his bag and put it on me "Hey ryan!" He tightened it
"Hush I don't want you to know where your going!"
"Man your really working hard at this..." I chuckle, he pushes my shoulder playfully
"Oh shush you!" He cooed, we left and drived to wherever ryan was takeing me. About 10 minutes later I feel the car stop and hear ryan unbuckle, then the door shut. My heart sank and I became extremely nervous about the date, where were we anyway? I hear my door open and feel it move away from me and a gentle hand on my shoulder trying to coax me out of the car and I did so, then I get turned around and feel the blindfold losen revealing a beautiful park. With many hills and a playground in the center lowest part of this large park. All the grass was green and well maintained, and there was a huge weeping willow (my favorite tree!) And a stream running next to it. I gasp softly then turn to ryan hugging him.
"Omg, it's perfect for a date!"I squealed, ryan chuckles and thanks me for the complement, then he looked at his watch
"He should be here in 10 to 15 minutes" he looked over the park, "where do you want to wait?"I also look over the park and point to the big weeping willow.
"There!"
He smiled and, we start to walk to the willow."I thought you'd choose there"he said as we where walking. I noded and happly skiped along with his walking. "So are you ready for your blind date?" He asked out of the silence that started to shroud us. I became nervous when he asked
"Um...I'm not sure" I said my nervousness showing in my voice, he put a hand on my shoulder in a comforting manner.
"Its alright to be nervous about this... But I think you'll like him" he playfully elbows me in the side "I was thinking of you when I set this up"
