Before I start the wonders of this story, I do have some precautions...
-this is a 'My Little Pony Friendship is Magic' based book(please don't stop reading it for that)
-sorry if you love the show and I don't get the characters down, I try my best.

"Spike! Spiiiike! Spike?" Twilight Sparkle, a unicorn pony yelled from the entrance of the library in Ponyville. A grumpy baby purple dragon, with green spikes comes down the stairs.
"What is it Twi? I was sleeping!" Spike complained sleepily. Twilight just barely stifled a laugh.
"Come on Spike. Rarity, AJ, and Rainbow Dash are going for a picnic. And I do not want to miss another one from you sleeping." She rolled her eyes playfully and trots off. Spike made multiple complains on the way to farm to get Apple Jack the earth pony, too.
"Well hoodey do ya'll? Ya ready for some lunch? I got Rarity to get you some gems Spike." Applejack winks at Spike and says goodbye to Applebloom and Big Mac.
"Off to Rainb--" Twi was in mid sentence when Spike spoke up. "Wait! Why isn't Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy coming?" Spike demanded.
"Because Pinkie has to bake a totally new kind of cake, and multiple of them. And with Fluttershy, she really wanted to come, but her animals were acting strangely for some reason." Twilight explained with a shrug.
Going over the bridge, AJ, Spike, and Twilight Sparkle were approaching the Rainbow, cloud house, and hears snoring inside.
Great. Do we have do get Rainbow Dash up? This il' take a while.
Half the gang thought.

At around chapter 5, things will get very interesting... MEHUHEHAHAHHAHAHA.
But ya this chapter is to get to know 1/2 of the main characters.
