"And the starting line up for the visiting Collisionnsss," the announcer spoke to the crowd at the game.
God, I come to you right now to ask for your guidance tonight. To help me keep an open eye and open mind out here on the court. I pray that no one becomes injured and my teammates and I put our all on the court to get this W!
"Starting guard for the UofLA Collision... at 5 feet 5 inches, Shay Johnsoooonnnn!"
I yelled as my teammate and I did our secret handshake. This was my "ace boon coon", she was swift and smooth as hell on the court, and a great friend off the court.
"Starting forward at 5 feet 10 inches, Savannah Lewisssss!"
I slapped hands with my remaining teammate and jogged to the referees and opposing coach shaking their hands.
"Yeaaaahhh!" I yelled as I walked towards Shay and the other two players who were in the starting line up.
"Let's get this W. Let's go out here and make them regret choosing to play us. Show no mercy! Come out and play to your best abilities and let's fuck some up!" Keisha, the starting shooting guard and captain of the team, yelled as we stood in the huddle at half court.
"Lady Collision on 3! 1, 2, 3!"
"Collision!"
"Ladies! I like the effort I saw tonight. I expect this every night from now on. I expect you all to play team ball, make hustle plays, take smart shot selection! I expect to win! Nothing much left to say but congrats! Bring it in!" Coach Ansell spoke as we sat in the locker room after a blow out game.
I can say I was satisfied with my performance tonight. A rebound short of a double double, I can say I did well.
After showering and putting on my warm up suit and putting my backpack on, I walked out of the locker room and to one the trainers and Kaideon.
"Mommy, guess who I saw?"
"Who baby?" I asked.
"Kaeden Harris!"
Oh my fucking...
"Oh really? What did you talk about?"
"I told him that you were my mommy and that my name was Kaideon Harris!" he said jumping up and down. "Mommy look, there he goes right there!" He screamed pointing behind me.
What the fuck?...
