Today was the day of prom and I'm so excited I woke up and checked my phone when I got a text from my boyfriend it read
'Hey sorry but this thing we have going on is really working so um I think we should break up'
When I read the text my heart dropped to my stomach, at this moment I didn't know what to do I didn't text my friends because they were probably getting ready to I texted my best freind Omar we have been friends since the first grade
this is what the next was like
T- hey Omar
O- hey what you up to, getting ready for prom
T- no I'm actually not going
O- what why
T- my bf just broke up with me
O- Oh my so sorry
T- no need to be sorry
O- hey why don't I take you I'm not going with anyone
T- really?!?! Thank you Omar x
O- ok I will see you later
T-ok thanks again
Omar's pov
Tasha texted me saying her boyfriend broke up with her the day of prom, I feel so bad but I have to say I have always had a crush on her she is so beautiful, funny and sweet so of course I will take her she has been taking about today for awhile now so I and got a suit and and a rose for her I want to make tonight the best night of her life so I rented a limo for us and a couple of friends

I ran to my bathroom got changed and I saw I got a text from my other best friend it said we will met for pictures around 3 o'clock, I went and grabbed my dress from the closet It was a long mint green dress with gold Diamonds on it I did a natural smokey eye and a natural lip color I curled my hair then walked down stairs and put on my heels I heard the door bell and standing there was Omar with a rose in hand my mom took a couple of pictures then we were of to the picture spot after pictures it was prom time "thanks again for coming with me" I said to Omar "anything for you" he said smiling making me blush, Me and Omar couldn't help but smile and look at each other in the eyes during the slow song Omar leaned in and kissed prom was over and me and Omar went to a park
"So what are we now" asked Omar
"Oh about friends with benefits" I said
"I kind of like bf and gf more" he said smiling at me
"I think I like that to" I said kissing him
"Well um Tasha I have actually liked you for away now" he said scratching the back of his neck
"Aww Omar" I said lifting his head up and kissing him
"I love you" I also said
"Love you too Tasha" he said
"Why don't I take you home" he said
"Ok let's go" I said
At my house
"Night" he said kissing me
"Night to you too" I said walking to into my house
