"Even though this just happened, there are some moments you know you're gonna remember forever. This is one of them."
The smile on Lucas' face was unforgettable as he stared at Riley; wide eyed and amazed.
Both of them, not even paying attention to the fact that Farkle was still talking, and that the Subway was about to arrive.
They stood there, stuck in a trance as their eyes held each other's gazes, not wanting to part.
Lucas' eyes haven't left Riley ever since she entered the subway. He stared at her as if she was an angel sent from Heaven above.
To him, she was.

"Again?" Riley asks, a small giggle following the last part of the word.
In an instant, Riley found herself, pretending to fall backwards, bringing her back in time to a familiar place.
The same seat they met in, the same lap, and the same position. It was all happening, once more, but what Riley once thought was the best thing that ever happened to her, was now about to be the second best.
"Hi, I'm Riley." She says, to the familiar face. "We were just talking about you."
The same smile appears on his face, the same smile he gave her when she said those exact words.
"I'm Lucas."
"I love it."
Lucas watched Riley carefully, slowly realizing she was much more nervous then she normally ever was around him.
Something different was happening. He could feel it.
The confidence kicked back into her as she began to speak, repeating almost the exact words; Lucas had said to her moments before.
"You know those moments, that we were talking about, that we're going to remember forever?"
Lucas furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, but continued to answer.
"Yeah?"
Her small hands found themselves, lightly attached to the sides of his face.
It all went by so quickly, especially to the people that were witnessing the moment; but to them, it felt like the whole world had stopped.
One kiss, can mean the world to some people.
To them, it meant the entire universe.
This was a moment, they were surely going to remember forever.
Hopefully.

Riley sits in the waiting room, only darkness peeping through the windows, with little light from the moon; clutching to the last bit of hope she has left as a constant drone of voices surround her, like bees swarming around a hive.
She noticed the different languages, the various levels and tones of everyone's voice that continues to speak.
Happy, animated conversation in one corner. Hushed words and streams of tears in the other.
Riley stayed in the middle, with Maya to her left, her father to the right, Farkle and her mother in front of her. None of them trying to start conversation, all of them just dwelling on the news, they had heard hours before.
