Babygirl seeking Daddy

Time to be a big girl!

Amity's P.O.V
I wake up to the sound of the Steven universe "stronger than you" song goes off, I love that song. I smile and wipe my eyes with my fists and look around for my stuffy elephant when I realize Christian is still sleeping. I smile and poke his nose softly to wake him up,
"Daddy! Wakey wakey!"
I say in my sing-song voice. He isn't exactly my daddy because he has no actually idea what it even means to be a daddy but he like when I call him it and tries to do his bestest to keep me happy.
"WAKEY WAKEY!"
I say louder, climbing on top of him and messing up his hair. He groans and looks up at me with tired eyes where I greet him with a big girl smile,
"how are you always so cheery in the morning?"
He groans and gives me a sleepy smile,
"I finally get to go to your big people school, why wouldn't I be?"
"Oh yeah...OH SHIT WE BETTER GET READY!"
"oooo, you said a naughty word!" I say after him as he runs out the room. I don't think he expected to spend the night before watching disney movies and eating sweets but, what can I say? I'm a persistent princess. I get up and get in the shower then get out and try to find something that fit the big day, I was actually starting to get butterflies in my tummy now that it was almost time to go. "Nothing too grown up but obviously not my usual favorite onsie.." I whisper to myself and shift around uncomfortably, starting to let every sink in when Christian walks back in only wearing a plain t-shirt and jeans. "what's taking you so long, princess?" he asks, with his adorable boyish smile.
"this is a big day and I dont know what to wear!" I say, starting to get pouty and blush embarrassed.
"Lets not be a pouty princess now, i'm sure we'll find you something"
he says, in his reassuring voice making me calm down a little and run into his arms, resting my still damp wavy hair on his chest.
"what's this for?" he says, kissing my forehead and hugging me tightly like he always does, "I just wanted to hold onto the bestest person in the world" I say softly then pull away and sigh running over to my closet and grabbing a simple pink pleated skirt and grey top with my favorite black bra, Steven Universe little girl panties and curl my hair.  It stresses me out so much to know I can't bring my paci or favorite stuffy but I sneak a small one into my bag right before Daddy decides to chase me out of our little apartment.
"it's time to be a big girl" I keep telling myself through it all.
