Liam POV

My cheeks were on fire from hearing Bradley compliment me, no one had ever told me such sweet things before. We walked into his kitchen and set the grocery bags down, I saw the roses that I had given him the day before in a vase on the counter.

"Hey, so you like the flowers, huh?" I asked, trying to break the ice again.

"Yeah, yeah I really do. Thanks again for them, they're so beautiful." He responded. Not as beautiful as you, I thought to myself.

"You're welcome, I made them with you in mind." I felt my cheeks heat up once more. Why did I keep embarrassing myself like this?

I looked up from the floor and saw Bradley blushing as well. "Well, let's get this rice a cookin'" He said.

"Good idea. What should I do?" I asked.

"You can sit at the breakfast bar, I'm making you dinner." He replied. How sweet.

"Are you sure you don't want any help?" I asked again.

"Yes, yes, I'm making dinner for you, and while you wait, you can tell me about yourself. I want to know everything, start with the basics though. Favorite band, what you like to do in your spare time, stuff like that." Bradley stated. I wanted to know everything about him too, I'm glad we were on the same page with that kind of stuff.

"Well, my favorite band is Muse..." I began, but Bradley interrupted me.

"Me too! I love them. Sorry, what were you saying?" He asked.

"Wow, that's cool! Oh, and its fine. I was pretty much done, Muse is my favorite." I said with a smile.

"Oh, okay. Well anyways, what about your free time?" He asked.

"Well, I like Netflix and tumblr really. I spend way too much time on both of those, being around my flowers is fun too though. It's just, I'm around them all day so when I get home, a little change is nice. What about you? What do you do in your free time, Bradley?"

"Oh, you know, I enjoy flirting with hot guys in flower shops." He said, laughing. "No but seriously, I like Netflix and tumblr too, how strange. Well, then again, who doesn't like that?"

"Crazy people." I responded, now laughing as well.

I watched for a few seconds as he went about making dinner quietly, I could watch him forever. It was surreal almost, watching this perfect man make me dinner. Me, the boy everyone always thought would never find someone like him, let alone someone this perfect. I couldn't have been happier, honestly.

All of a sudden, I was surrounded with an urge to go wrap my arms around him while he was cooking, I don't know where it came from. I calmly got up from my chair and walked over to where he was standing by the stove, and before my courage ran out, wrapped both my arms around his waist as he continued cooking. I could feel him smile, and I was smiling too. Nothing has ever felt as perfect as it did having this boy in my arms.

We didn't talk as I watched him cook, just stood together, soaking up each other's presence. Even though we had only met yesterday, I felt as if I had known him forever.

"Liam, describe to me your perfect date. Everyone has one, a date that they dream about having with someone. What's yours?" He asked me quietly.

"Probably something like this, honestly." I whispered back. It felt so perfect, just standing here with him.

"No, I'm serious, what's your dream date?" He asked again.

"Well, it takes place outside. In a clearing, with candles on the ground and cuddling on a picnic blanket, under the stars. Looking at constellations together. Being able to be alone with each other and feel like I still had the whole world, because they're my world. Just laying together, in each other's arms, under the stars. I think it seems just utterly perfect." I responded. When I was describing it, I pictured myself going on that date with Bradley. He made it seem perfect, and all of a sudden, I realized that he was the one I wanted to go on that date with.

"That sounds utterly perfect, Liam. I would personally love to take you on that date, someday. It would mean the world to me." He said quietly, his voice almost silent at the end.

Damn, this boy was making me feel things I didn't know possible. I could feel my heart fluttering, flipping over in my chest and I was overcome with emotions. I wanted to kiss Bradley, so badly, but I decided waiting would be better. What if he wasn't ready? I doubt he was feeling the same was that I was. I decided to just lean my head on his shoulder instead.

"That smells amazing, I can't wait to try some." I said, it was true, Bradley was an excellent cook.

"Just a bit longer, it's almost done." He responded. "Will you grab some plates? They're in the second cupboard over from the refrigerator." Bradley asked.

"Yeah, of course." I said, disappointed to have had to move my arms from around him. I grabbed the plates and set them on the counter. "Is this good?"

"Perfect." He replied. He looked over at me with a look in his eyes that suggested emotion, lots of it. Maybe he was feeling the same way I was. I swear I heard him softly whisper "just like you," but I was probably mistaken. After all, I wasn't perfect. He was.

We sat at his breakfast bar together, eating the food that he had made together with light conversation, nothing close to as heated as before.

When we had both finished, Bradley cleared his throat. I noticed it was getting late, it was already around 10. I knew I had to get home soon.

"Thanks for tonight, it was great getting to know you and you make amazing food. Would you may-" I was cut off when he pressed his lips to mine. After a second had passed by of me standing in awe of what was happening, I kissed him back. I had never felt anything as perfect as I did when his lips were on mine, it was as if the world had stopped spinning and it was just the two of us on the entire planet. I won't lie, I was slightly disappointed when he pulled away. I had wanted that kiss to last forever.

"Wow." I breathed out with our foreheads still leaned against each other. I couldn't stop myself from smiling, and he was smiling too. I leaned in and kissed him again, passionately this time. However, we had to stop partway in because we both couldn't stop from smiling.

"It's getting late." I heard Bradley say. "Let me walk you home." He said.

"Okay, I'll just grab my jacket." I replied.

We both walked out the door, and as soon as we had made it down the steps, I felt his hand slip into mine. I felt my cheeks heat up and a smile come onto my face, I looked over and saw Bradley staring back at me smiling as well. I couldn't help myself, with my free hand I pushed some of his fringe out of his face and kissed him again, leaving my hand on the side of his face. My heart was beating fast, but I was enjoying every second of it.

Once we had both pulled away, we continued the walk back to my flat, it was only about a block away from Bradley's. I invited him inside once we arrived, and he agreed. After I had unlocked the door, I stumbled over in the darkness to where one of the plug-ins for the twinkle lights was, and plugged them in.

"Wow, this is beautiful Liam!" Bradley exclaimed.

"Yeah, I really like it. Thank you." I said, leading him into the kitchen. "So, do you want something to drink?" I asked.

"No, no I'm good. I should be getting back, it's getting late and we both have work in the morning." Bradley replied.

"Oh, okay. Well, actually, wait. I had a question for you." I stated, before my courage ran out.

"Shoot." Bradley leaned back against the fridge and smiled.

"Well uh I was wondering," I looked up and met his eyes. "Will you be my boyfriend?"

He walked over to where I was standing. "I would love to be your boyfriend, Liam."

I couldn't contain my excitement, I jumped up and threw my arms around his neck, kissing him deeply.

"Thank you." I whispered, before kissing my beautiful boyfriend again.
