It all started in freshman year. It was September. Zachary just wanted to have some fun and he had no significant other. So he asked his friend, Keisha, to hook him up with someone. She immediately knew. "How about this guy named Will?" Said Keisha. Zachary was all or nothing at this point so he gave in and just nodded his head.
That afternoon Zachary saw someone that matched Keisha's description of Will. Of course, being as nervous as he was, Zachary didn't walk up to him and ask; he just watched on as he waited for his ride.
Later (Zachary was long overdue for a haircut) while waiting for his turn his phone vibrated. He looked down and saw he had a kik message from someone new. So he answered, it turned out to be Will.
So they wanted to get to know each other. Will was 15(soon to be 16) and a sophomore. As they were talking a girl, who looked to be 14 or 15, was eyeing Zachary from across the room. He made a joke of it to Will. He wasn't having it though and quickly said "Tell her you're mines." Zachary was surprised at this considering the short time they had known each other. But he did ignore her, because he wanted to figure out what Will was really about. As all this was going on it started to rain, maybe this was a prediction of the tears Zachary would shed over this relationship, but he was enjoying his conversation too much to notice. Zachary went on to get his haircut and when he was done he showed Will, they continued to flirt and converse. But little did Zachary know this would be the start of something his heart might not be able to handle.
