Hey :) This is a long one shot. I wrote this story with my friends. Its purpose was to be for our English final project but then we were so happy about the story so here we are sharing our work with you guys! :) Hope you enjoy reading! Oh and sorry that it's in a third person's POV. We are lazy people and we did this overnight because we're such pitiful crammers.
xx, Mace

*THIRD PERSON'S POV*

“Morning Boo! Rise and shine Sleeping Beauty, it’s a special day today!” Sandy fluttered her eyes open, waking up to that familiar angelic voice that never fails to enthrall her. She got up with a smile on her face, and stretched her limbs as she made her way to the bathroom to prepare for the day.
It’s been a year since James and she have been together; today is their first anniversary. She did her morning routine, and went to the living room to wait for her boyfriend to pick her up. A few minutes passed, and she heard a knock on the door. She was immediately exhilarated, and quickly got up and answered it, only to be greeted by her lover who had flowers in his hand.
“Happy anniversary boo!” James greeted as he wrapped his arms around Sandy.
“Let’s go!” he invited as they both made their way to his car.

They walked hand in hand through the school hallways when they saw Sandy’s bestfriend, Harry, walking towards them.
“Hey Harry! What’s up?” Sandy greeted as she hugged him.
“Oh hey Sandy and James! Nothing much, just studying for the Physics exam.” Harry greeted looking at his reviewer.
“Oh my!” Sandy said. “I totally forgot about that exam. Boo, I’ll see you after class, okay?” She kissed James goodbye as she made her way to class with Harry.

The day went by, and it wasn’t a good one at all for Sandy. First, she didn’t get to answer majority of the items in the Physics exam, she was scolded by her teacher for doodling in class and lastly, she didn’t get to eat lunch because of some extra work that she had to do for failing her exam in Math.
After all those mishaps, she made her way to the basketball court as she would surely find James playing with his team mates there. As expected, she saw him there as he hurriedly made his way to his lovely girlfriend. “Hello there!” he kissed her cheek when he noticed that she seemed to be numb at his presence.
“What’s wrong, love? You seem dismayed.” James asked. Sandy sighed as she said: “I just had a bad day, and I haven’t even been able to eat lunch yet.”
“Awww, boo. Cheer up! Come here.” He gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek once more. His loving gestures seemed to appease her.
“Okay, come on.” He said as he tried to pull her out of the court.
“What? Where are we going?” Sandy protested, ceasing the moment.
“We’re going out. It’s our anniversary, remember?”
“But you have basketball training. You can’t ditch that.”
“You’re more important, boo.”
And with those words, a smile spread across her face and she allowed him to take her to dinner.
