ANNAS POV
I sat in his lap and explained everything from the beatings to the drugs to the alcohol.
"Anna why didn't you tell me sooner ?"he asked but before I could answer he turns to me with the most serious face and says "your not going back"
I stand up shocked.
"what do you mean I'm not going back i cant just not go" i say frustrated
"yes you can, look ill figure it out but for right now you aren't leaving okay?" he says and i nod my head in response.
"Jake? "
" we aren't talking about it right now look , lets go grab a dress from your house and we can come back here I want you to have fun tonight and not worry about him "
I nod my head and me and Jake stand up and walk to his car . the ride to my house was quite. and I thought he wouldn't talk until he said. " how long? "
"how long what Jake? "I ask a little confused
how long have you been letting him do this to you and then you do this to yourself , what the hell Anna you shouldn't ....." he pauses " just no okay ....fuck .. why would you do this to yourself? "he asks not once looking away from me my gaze dropped to the floor
I didn't say anything I just sat there my feet becoming very interesting.
"Anna answer me "he growls I whimper in response becoming scared and take a step back.
his features softened and he took a step closer, which caused me to take a step back.
"Anna please I'm so sorry " he says and undoubtedly I believe him "come here please " I walk forward into his outstretched arms and he wrapped them around me squeezing me tightly.
"jjjaaakkkkee "I whine
"I'm so sorry I scared you it was never my intention. I'm only trying to protect you ... because I..I love you Anna.."
I stood there shocked.

We got into the car and proceeded to drive to my house. when we pull up in the drive there is a car that looks very familiar and i realize its my dads.
"jake ?" i say worried
" lets just get your stuff and go if he tries anything i got it Anna dont worry i told you id protect you and i will ... you trust me dont you ?"
" i do .. its just .."
" nothing Anna come on " he says and gets out of the car and walks to my side and opens the door . he takes my hand in his as he helps me out of the car and we walk towards the door . when he opens the door i see what i was hoping to aviod ....
