I loved the school holidays for one reason more than any else- I got to see my friends. I had been schooling in Switzerland for two years now, and that meant two years separated from my closest friends. I knew the routine of the holidays well by now. Every morning, Claire, Sara, Angela, Zahra and I would meet up in town around ten o'clock. We'd make our way to one of two bars in the CBD and have a few beers before going home. We'd been doing this since before I was sixteen, so now, after almost a year and a half, I thought nothing of it. I was currently sitting in 'Grill and Pub', making fun of my best friend, Claire, and her boy toy, Max.
"So tell me Max, how come you haven't asked my friend to be your girlfriend?"
"Uummm... I already have a girlfriend." I pretended to be shocked by this information, but they both knew I already knew.
"Oh. Oh, I see. But you have feelings for Claire?"
"Yeah, I do."
"And you know Claire has feelings for you?"
"Yeah."
"So basically, if you didn't have a girlfriend, you'd be together?"
"I guess so." At this point Claire probably knew I was about to make things really awkward and tried to stop me.
"Ok, Latissia can we change the topic now?" She was almost begging.
"Wait, I have one more question."
"Oh god, what is it?"
"Ok, so Max, why don't you just dump your girlfriend?" I saw him struggle for an answered for a bit before I decided to put him out of his misery. "It's ok, I'm ably playing with you. So how's school?" I was laughing at the expression on his face when I looked up just as he sat down. Gabriel was here. I couldn't quite make sense of my emotions at that moment, and iTrader me go silent. Suddenly, the only thing I could focus on was the drink infront of me. When I looked up again, Gabriel was much closer, talking to Claire. I gave him a tentative smile as a greeting then went back to my drink. The rest of the day past by in a blur, and before I knew it, Gabriel was leaving. Before he left, he asked Claire to program her number into his phone, and she did. By this time I had accepted that however small, I still had a crush on Gabriel, so it stung to watch theory exchange, whilst he completely ignored me.
A few days later, I was sitting on my bed talking to Claire when Gabriel came up.
"Dude, he's such a fool. He asked me to be his girlfriend, then said he was joking when I said no."
"Haha. So what did you say to him after that?" That bit of information stung a little, but I did my best to cover it up. After all, she did nothing wrong so I wasn't going to take it out on her.
"I just said 'oh, ok.' We haven't spoken since. Oh, but he did ask me for your number, can I give it to him?"
"Yeah, why not." I tried not to get to excited by showing nonchalance, but deep down I was quite happy about it.I also knew it was stupid of me, because, obviously, Claire was his first choice.
"Cool, so let me text him. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Alright. Bye." I didn't really have any thing to do after that, so I just dat fiddling with my phone before I decided tks watch a movie. I was towards the end of 'Grown Ups' when I got a message from Gabriel. We spoke for a while before we ran out of conversation. Then Gabriel started to flirt a little. I was elated, but kept reminding myself I was his second choice.
The next day was the same as usual; I went to town and drank with friends. Gabriel didn't pitch up, but his best friend was there. We hadn't spoken since the previous day either. After sitting in 'Grill and Pub for a while, someone mentioned there was a party at 'Hawaii'. Angela had her car with her, so we decided to go. Following the directions, we ended up at a house a few streets behind mine. It was a dingy looking place, but there was free alcohol, so we went in. Being the middle of the day, it wasn't really a raving party, but it wasn't bad either. Before we went in, Angel, Claire and I shared a joint in the car. We went in straight to the kitchen to find some drinks. After grabbing a beer each, we went looking for the owner of the house to greet him. Walking I to the lounge, I saw Drew, I guy I knew from a few years back. He was with some other guy I didn't recognise. We greeted each other before I went outside, having been told there were a couple of people smoking weed there. I got to the group of people and started socializing.
"So why is this place called Hawaii?" The guy I asked was really nice. He was the one who made space for me to join the group.
"Well, do you see those trees?"
"The palm trees?"
"Exactly!" He said it with a finality that madecided me aware that was the answer to my question. We continued to talk, but somewhere during the conversation, Drew came to talk to me.
"This is my friend Kevin from England." He introduced me to the guy I saw him with earlier.
"Hi Kevin. I'm Latissia." Drew went on to explain how we knew each other making seem as if we were a lot closer than we actually were. He was starting to annoy me a little, bit I was so drunk and high, that all I could do was laugh.
"You should see her sister. She's so protective, so you better not mess with Latissia."
I laughed and disclaimed his statement. "That's not true, she lets me do my own thing. The way this was going, I got the feeling that Drew was trying to hook me up with Kevin, but after a while Drew asked me to walk with him. He led me into one of the bedrooms, and started kissing me. I wasn't really into it, so I tried half-heartedly to push him away.
"Don't worry, we w/o t have sex." I thought as long as he knew I didn't want that, there was no harm in a little kissing. Whilst we were making out, he reached into a bag at the side of the bed, and pulled something out. In the back of my mind, I knew it was a condom, but with the haze over my mind, I thought nothing of it. After a few more minutes, he pulled me up, and into the en-suite. I tried again to put up some resistance, but was met with the same statement as before. "Don't worry, we won't have sex."
Drew pulled me inroads the bathroom, and locked the door. He closed the toilet seat and sat down, pulling me onto his lap. Whilst kissing me, he started to pull my top up. I don't know when, but I had realigned to the fact that we were actually going to have sex, and helped him get my top off. Soon after, my bra followed, and before I knew it, I was sitting on his lap naked. I would usually be self conscious about my body, but because I didn't actually have any sexual feelings towards Drew, I didn't really care what he thought. I was at a point where I just wanted to get it over with. Drew pulled his pant and boxers down to his knees, then pulled me back onto his lap. He rolled the condom on, then positioned himself at my entrance, waiting for me to push down the rest of the way. I rode him, holding the tank of the toilet for support before he stopped me. He held me up enough to get the condom off, and I thought he had reached his climax.
"Please give me a blow job?" I told him I didn't want to, so he just repositioned himself and we continued. When he did climax, he asked me if I had finished too. I told him I had because I hustled wanted to get out of there. He pulled his pants up and walked to the door, before he looked back at me and told me
"You have to get the morning after pill cause we didn't UAE a condom at the end.
"Ok." With that he walked out, leaving me to get dressed, feeling dirty. He knew I didn't want to have sex, but still coaxed me into it. But I also knew the blame wasn't entirely on him as he never actually forced me.
From there I just decided to walk home, no longer I the mood for a party. I said bye to my friends and left. On the way, my pained dinged with a message from Gabriel.
Hey. I miss you. How's it going? After what had just happened with Drew, I wasn't in the mood for bullshit, which surprisingly gave me a mind clear enough to know that Gabriel was only trying to sweet talk me. After all, we'd only spoken the previous day, and bot even when we saw each other days prior.
Good, you?
Not good. I've been thinking about your body. I also knew that was bull, because let's gave it. I'm fat now.
Oh. Haha. Sorry..?
Is that all? You could at least send me a sexy pic.
Nah...
Why not??? I was in a bad mood, but I was trying not to take it out on him since he had nothing to do with it.
Cause I'm not your girlfriend
Do you want to be? Well, shit. I wasn't expecting that. I found it very hard to say no to people so I tried to find a way around it.
Well, it wouldn't really make sense, cause I'm not here for mostly of the time.
So what if we say you can do what yout want when you are at school, but during the holidays you're mine??? I found myself agreeing, only because I didn't want to say no, and that is how it all began.
