First of all.... Happy 4th anniversary !!!!!
Today on 09/09/2025 marks four years since I published the very first chapter of Adhyaa and Abhimanyu's story. Back then, I was just a tyro, nervously putting my words out into the world, never imagining that this little tale born out of my heart would find its way into yours.
These characters have grown with me — from the first spark of an idea to their laughter, their fights, their love, their chaos, and now, their happily ever after. And in these four years, I too have grown alongside them, as a writer and as a dreamer.
I can't thank you enough for reading, encouraging, and sometimes even scolding me when updates were late 😅. Every comment, every message, every silent reader - you all have been part of this journey.
Adhyaa and Abhimanyu may just be fictional, but the love, warmth, and family they represent feel very real to me because of the way you embraced them.
Here's to four years of memories, and to many more stories to come. ♥️
《 5 Years Later 》
"Abhimanyu!" Adhyaa's voice echoed through the entire Oberoi mansion.
He came running, half worried, half annoyed. "What happened? Are you okay?"
"I want ice cream."
He blinked. "Ice cream? At this time?"
"Yes! Mango flavored. With chocolate syrup. And some chips on top." She folded her arms and gave him the most serious glare in the world.
Abhimanyu rubbed his forehead. "But Adhyaa... the doctor said no junk food."
But Adhyaa being Adhyaa, gasped dramatically, "Maan, you don't love me anymore. You don't care about me or our baby, just because I am fat, na. Fine, I'll just starve. And then—then—when your child refuses to call you Papa, don't come to me!"
"Jaan! It's n... forget it. Mango Ice Cream with choco cups, right?" Abhimanyu asked, looking completely defeated.
Siya, as the God mother she is, laughing from the kitchen, called back, "Beta, this is only the beginning. Get used to it!"

Abhimanyu sat in the doctor's office, his hands clasped so tightly his knuckles had turned white. He kept glancing at Adhyaa, who was humming happily, swinging her legs as if she was in a candy shop instead of a hospital. But she didn't know her joy was going to turn into a living happy horror.
"Can't you sit still for once?" he muttered.
"I'm excited! Maybe the baby will look like me."
"Well!! Then our baby must be the best looking in the world", he whispered seriously, but the smile tugging at his lips betrayed him.
The doctor entered with a file and a wide smile. "So, Mr. and Mrs. Singhania... I have good news."
Adhyaa gasped and grabbed Abhimanyu's arm. "It's healthy, right? Tell me it's healthy!"
The doctor chuckled. "Healthy... and double."
"Double?" Adhyaa repeated. Abhimanyu too shocked to utter a word.
"Yes. Twins."
There was silence. Then, in one smooth motion, Abhimanyu stood up, sat back down, and his face changed a million expressions in a few seconds.
"Twins?! You mean... two? Two babies?", Adhyaa tensed, but her eyes sparkling with tears.
"Meri Jaan! Can you imagine? Our Kids and twins!"
She groaned dramatically. "Two of them? I'm finished."
He made her lean against him, and she, laughing through her tears, completed her sentence, "No, Maan... we're complete."
He looked at her then, at the mischievous sparkle in her eyes, and for the first time since entering the room, he genuinely smiled without hesitation. He placed a hand over her stomach, whispering, "Both of you better not trouble your Mamma."
Adhyaa giggled. "Well, if they got your traits, then they won't but ...."
Abhimanyu laughed heartedly and completed, "Now, you yourself saying you are difficult to handle."
She had comebacks but these twins have her whole attention captured.
Adhyaa came home glowing, Abhimanyu walking behind like a soldier returning from war.
The moment they entered, Siya and Yamini rushed over. "What did the doctor say? Everything's okay?"
Before Adhyaa could answer, Abhimanyu collapsed dramatically on the sofa. "Pray for me, Maa. My life is officially over."
Well, this is not how he reacted in the hospital!! Such an attention seeker, thought Adhyaa.
"What happened?!" shouted Rudransh, sprinting from the other room with Reyanch and Divyansh behind him.
Adhyaa tried to hide her grin, but her brothers caught it. "Spill it!" Adwet demanded. Actually, this was her 5th month but the size of her baby bump was bigger than the usual baby bump size and occasional pains made her whole family anxious and if not for Abhimanyu they would have gone with her for the checkup. So, in short, almost everyone was there in the Oberoi's mansion.
She bit her lip, then blurted out, "We're having twins!"
There was a beat of silence. Then the entire house erupted.
"TWINS?!" Yamini clutched her head. "Do you know what this means? Double the crying, double the feeding....."
".... double the fun!" Reyansh squealed, hugging Adhyaa tightly.
"Or double the torture," Abhimanyu muttered under his breath, earning himself a smack from Adwet.
"Two babies?" Adwet grinned wickedly at his dear and poor brother-in-law. "Good luck, jiju. One jungli billi was enough to handle, now there'll be three."
"Bhai !!," Adhyaa interrupted annoyingly but sweetly.
After the joyous period pasts, the realization dawned on Abhimanyu, because there's a proverb, 'Double the Trouble'
Seeing him like this for her, Adhyaa leaned into him, whispering, "Don't worry, Maan. You'll survive... We'll survive... probably."
