Having the fresh morning breeze flow through your hair with a hot mug of coffee in your hands is just amazing. The smell of the salty water helps relax the stress and sore muscles, if you get what I mean.

I was thinking about yesterday night's events when I felt two arms snake around my waist and squeeze me into a hug. Steven kissed my neck then rested his chin on my head. He sighed loudly and hugged me tighter.

"Isn't this just amazing? The view, the smell, the everything!" Steven exclaimed.

"I was thinking the exact same thing." I said, looking up at him then staring back into the distance.

It was the perfect moment, I felt loved and warm, until Steven spoke about something I really didn't want to talk about.

"Today, I'm going to see someone I know and ask him if he knows about anyone who has a lot of money and would be willing to buy most of the expensive things in this house."

I sighed, and didn't answer. My morning was peaceful and thoughtless until he brought that up. I pulled away from his grasp and walked to the kitchen. I didn't want to be around his negativity right now.

I took a red apple and took a huge bite out of it, putting all my anger of my ruined morning in it. The apple weirdly ressembled Steven at the moment.

He came downstairs and looked at me with worry in his eyes.

"Why do I have a feeling that you're mad at me?" He asked.

"Well first off, I was having an awesome morning and you just HAD to mention selling the stuff of this house. And second, this isn't right!! These things are all those people's lives. You can't just go and sell them for your own well being Steven. It's straight off cruel and unkind!!"

He looked at me with such anger. He walked up to me and grabbed my arm, holding it a bit too hard.

"You don't get it do you, you stupid bitch! If we sell all this stuff, we won't have to worry about trying to find shelter at night or fight to find food. We won't have to worry about finding anything. We will be free to roam around the streets without all the stress of being found by the fucking pigs (the popo, if you guys were wondering). Now if you don't want any part of this than leave now or god help you!!" His face was red with anger.

"Steven, you're hurting me..." I whimpered.

He let go of my arm and stormed off upstairs. My arm was in pain and I was certain that there was going to be a bruise there later.

While Steven was acting like a total ass and was locked up in the owners office, I watched the rest of the home videos.  If you were wondering, the videos were programmed into the TV. It's pretty cool if you ask me. I soon realized that they filmed every single event.

I was watching intensively and I saw that an older woman was wearing a small necklace with a small diamond that looked a pinkish color. Later on, in another video, the old lady, who I assumed was the kid's Grandmother, gave the necklace to the little girl. The girl was probably our age today, but in the video she probably was seven or eight.

The little girl, Sarah, looked so happy to get the necklace. It's probably a heirloom or something in the genre. This necklace was probably something important to this family and it couldn't get sold. I had to go and see Steven and tell him, if by any chance he saw that necklace, he couldn't sell it. But before I could reach the office, there was a knock on the door.

Steven quickly got out of the office and looked at me worriedly. We both walked to the door, and I hoped that Steven had a plan.

We opened the door and saw a black man dressed as if he was ready to go and work on cars. You know that mechanical look...

"Hi umm, is Mr.Williams here? I'm here to do the annual car check."

"Well he's actually in vacation with his family right now. We're his niece and nephew. We're checking the house for them." Steven said, faking a smile as well.

"Well, do you have any idea when they will return?" The man asked.

"No, we will get a call from them soon and we will reach you as soon as possible." I spoke up, confident that my answer was good.

"Oh, ok. Well have a good day then." He said and left.

We closed the door and sighed in relief. That was a close call. I had never felt this nervous in my whole life. Not even when we were being chased by the pigs.

We walked back to the office after out laughing fit. Steven sat back down at the door and restarted staring intensely into the laptop screen. I shook my head and walked out.

I entered the kitchen and sat down on one of the stools. Steven walked in and grabbed one of the car keys that was in a bowl next to the fridge.

"I'm heading out to talk to my guy. I'll see you later, ok?" He said, kissing my cheek.

I nodded and he left. I heard one of the cars in the garage start and leave the driveway. It was after he left that I had forgotten to tell him about the necklace. I cursed to myself and ran to the girl's room and looked through her jewelry box for the necklace.

It wasn't there... Now there was only two options left. Either she's wearing it or Steven took it with him... Fuck!
