A Splintered Friendship

A New Year

Alex had gotten back to Silver falls, from summer camp. The suprise and disgust he had that his brother, cole had come to get him instead of their mother was astounding.
He was cold towards cole.

Meanwhile in New York Jackie was thriving doing her internship, it being the last day for it. then Katherine had shown up.
Hoping to convince her, anyway, to hopefully come back, because she and the other miss her and the bording school.
The beautiful, deep conversation that made Jackie realise she didnt belong in New York anymore.

Eliza? She had been on a musician kick. She had a mentor now. Axel Turner, he's a year old than her. Hes been a teaching her ways, hoping to convince her to go to Los Angeles.
Jackie came back to Silver falls. This will be a bumpy road.
Some were more accepting than others.
"Welcome back, Jackie' Winnie said as she had been home for a while, spending time..
There's Parker and Cole bonding again, of course.  A good little duo.

The next day, alex is cold even towards Jackie.
"Just like here, horses and mountains"
Jackie tried to bridge the gap by giving him a book, a fantasy book.
Now they're at school.
Eliza had been avoiding Alex, she was a little mad at him...just like he was mad at Jackie.
George and Katherine discussing scheduling and the boys making breakfast while Jackie helps with lunch.
Cole had study group.
"I can call will" Katherine said.
"No, mum i can" Winnie said "ive got this"
"You're a life saver, sweetheart"
Jackie helped by getting eggs, for Danny. Cole had tried to talk to her.
Hayley had been going for a thesis, in Chili  Will would be alone, doing his business...and it will be hectic.
Grace had been happy to see Jackie. She was getting the dish/ gossip from Jackie.

Alex got kinda popular now, since hes more good looking, as well as Danny and Erin have a thing now, Cole is unaware.
Tara the guidance counsellor, helping Jackie with an elective. She wanted Drivers Ed to help out in the house.
George and Will working through the work for the Ranch buisness thing. Which is causing rifts in the family, especially between Will and his father, down the line anyway.

In Drivers Ed, Alex sat next to Maria, a very beautiful girl. Kiley had expected to be there, next to him, although they had not spoken in a while.
Skylar and Nate in a beautiful, paper filled talk. The newspaper. 

"Im your boss, not your boyfriend here" Skylar said
"Okay, boss" Nate said adorably.
They both laughed.
Cole had been getting tutored by a snobby popular girl: Ruby.

Later in the day, they had a dining experience out, the whole family.

Cole had been helping Isaac train. Coach Allen offered him assistant Coach position.
A cute little Kiley and Jackie bonding interaction.
"I dont know what happened over the summer but-" kiley said.
"He changed?" Jackie said.
"And not in a good way" Eliza interjected, of course, although she had not been around or seen him that much. She hugged Jackie. "Welcome back!"
"Thank you!" Jackie said, hugging back.

The next day or a few days had passed and  jackie was trying to find a way into Driver's Ed. Kiley swapped with her.
Danny and Erin have a cute moment in the library and they had kissed. Unfortunately for Jackie when in Drivers Ed,  Jackie had sat down and Alex had been the one to sit down and they worked in a  pair.
The anger, that had bubbled over. Alex declared time of death of their break up.
Alex and Kiley had a little spat as well, very well deserved mind you.
A cute interaction between jackie and Parker.
Dylan and Kiley slightly bond, well begin to anyway.

Danny debated telling Cole about him and Erin. Ending up not.
Cole had been told that Jackie and Alex broke up officially.
Jackie had been moving things into the barn, Cole tried talking to her.
