Preparations filled the Jeon estate with a quiet storm of energy. Tailors, decorators, and planners moved quickly, yet the heart of it all remained simple: Taehyung’s safety. Mr. Jeon had decided—if Taehyung became legally bound to Jungkook, then no threat, no enemy, would dare cross the line.
Upstairs, Taehyung sat before the mirror, the soft fabric of his suit hugging him perfectly. He touched the ring Jungkook had given him days earlier, his lips curving faintly. Despite the fear lingering from the threats, tonight he felt… safe. Wanted.
Jungkook, meanwhile, could barely stay still. He straightened his jacket, ran a hand through his hair, then exhaled sharply. His father placed a hand on his shoulder. “You’re not just protecting him,” Mr. Jeon murmured. “You’re choosing him. Don’t forget that.” Jungkook nodded, his heart pounding with certainty.
When the ceremony began, Taehyung entered the candlelit hall, and Jungkook’s breath caught. Their eyes locked, and for a moment, it felt as if only the two of them existed. The threats, the chaos—everything faded in the glow of the white flowers and the soft music.
At the altar, Jungkook took Taehyung’s trembling hands in his, squeezing them gently. His voice was hushed, meant only for him. “You’re mine, Tae. Not because of the company, not because of the danger… but because I love you. And I’ll never let anyone take you away from me.”
Taehyung’s lips trembled, his eyes shimmering with unshed tears. He leaned in just slightly, whispering back, “I’m already yours, Jungkook. Always have been.”
The vows were spoken, but their silent promises spoke louder. When the officiant declared them husbands, Jungkook pulled Taehyung close, not caring that the hall was full of people. Their lips met in a kiss that was soft but lingering, tender yet burning with the weight of everything they had endured.
The applause erupted around them, but for Jungkook and Taehyung, it was only the sound of their hearts racing together. Protected, cherished, and finally bound—not just by law, but by love that felt unstoppable.

After the wedding ended and everyone finally left, Jungkook took Taehyung upstairs. The room was quiet, soft lights and candles glowing, petals on the bed. Taehyung stood there, his hands fidgeting, looking so shy it made Jungkook smile.
“Don’t be nervous,” Jungkook whispered, holding his hand tight. “It’s just me.”
Taehyung’s lips curved a little. “That’s exactly why I’m nervous,” he admitted.
Jungkook laughed under his breath, resting his forehead against Taehyung’s. “Then I’ll go slow.”
Their lips met—soft at first, then deeper, fuller. Jungkook pulled off Taehyung’s jacket gently, like he was handling something precious. “You’re so beautiful,” he said, and Taehyung swore his whole heart melted right there.
Everything felt slow and careful, every touch like it carried meaning. When they finally lay wrapped up in each other, Taehyung tucked his head against Jungkook’s chest, listening to his heartbeat. “I feel like I’m home now,” he whispered.
Jungkook kissed the top of his hair and held him tighter. “You are, Tae. With me, always.”
And for the first time in a long time, Taehyung wasn’t scared.
