Emma's POV
"Here we are, kid." I said, looking up at the Mayor's big, white house. "Yeah, here we are." Henry said with a sigh. I leant down to his level and stroked his shoulder. "You don't have to go in there with me if you don't want. I can get the information on my own." He smiled, "Are you sure?" "Yes, I can handle it. I promise." I answered him. I ruffled his hair a little and walked away. With a huff I knocked violently on the door until it opened, revealing a tired looking Regina. She looked at me with disgust. "Miss Swan, what do you want?" "I want you to tell me what happened to Hook." I replied angrily. "Sorry, not interested in helping." She said and began to close the door but I stopped her, wedging my hand between the crack before it could shut. "Not so fast Madam Mayor." I could tell that I'd ticked her off. Her face was turning redder by the second and she had a scowl on her face that could scare off a dragon. "Excuse me but I have every right to shut this door!" She huffed,"Get off my property or I'll-" "You'll what, call the cops?" I interrupted her as I shook my Sheriffs badge in front of her face. She rolled her eyes, "Fine. But this better not waste too much of my time." I shot her a satisfied smirk before pushing past her and heading to the couch. Regina closed the door or rather slammed the door and then came over and sat in an armchair in front of me. "So, what is it you want to know about your one handed lover?" She asked, her tone laced with disgust. I rolled my eyes before pulling out the contract and setting in on the table infront of her. "Who made this?" I asked. Regina's scowl faded and was replaced by a sickening smirk. "My mother." She said confidently. She looked up from the contract and back at me, a gleam of curiosity in her eyes. "Why?" She asked. "Because," I pointed to the part Henry and I had read, "He thought that this was a death sentence but that's not what it says and I want to know where he is." Regina's features became puzzled and she picked the piece of paper up to examine it further. "Oh..." She whispered. I sat up straighter, startled by her reaction. "What? What does it say?" She averted her eyes back to me. "You're right, the pirate isn't dead." She stated and I felt excitement rush through me. "Then where is he?" I asked, my anxiousness bubbling to the surface. She grimaced at me, clearly irritated by my never ending string of questions. "I'm afraid you're going to have to ask my mother about that. I don't have a single clue." I clenched my fist at her reply, wanting nothing more than to punch her straight across the face. "Fine." I said angrily and got up off her couch. She walked over to the door with me and opened it, her want for me to leave outweighing her want to stay in the comfort of her chair. "Good bye Miss Swan. Please don't ever visit here again." She said in an annoyed tone as she practically shoved me out the door. I rolled my eyes. "Don't worry. I have no intention of getting within a two mile radius of you ever again." She smiled, "Good." I began walking away but then, "Wait." Regina shouted from the door frame. I turned around, "What?" Her face had been hard and angry the whole time but now it had suddenly turned soft, her eyes filled with sadness. "How's Henry?" She asked. I smiled at her, "He's happy where he is. That's all you need to know." She shot me a scowl before disappearing back into her house and slamming the door. What a- "Mom." Henry's voice sounded and broke me from my thoughts. I looked over at the small boy walking towards me and smiled. "Hey kid, what's up?" I asked as I approached him. "Nothing. I was just wondering how it went?" He replied. "It went fine kid." He looked up at me, his brown eyes filled with hope, "Did she tell you where Hook is?" I felt a pang of sadness rush through me at that question. The fact that I still had no idea where Hook was or even if he was still alive made me sick to my stomach. "No." I finally answered him after a long silence. "But she has to! We have to find him or-" "Don't worry, Henry." I interrupted him, "She didn't know where he is but she told me someone who might." Henry stopped in his tracks. "Who?" He asked excitedly. I looked down at him and sighed. "Cora."
