~Ashley's POV~
I woke up in my room and got dressed in my favorite blue shirt with a butterfly on it and purple shorts. Just a typical morning.
WAIT! I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Ashley, I am 8 years old turning 9 in december. I go to an elementary school named Lexington Academy. I have an older sister named Jessy, short for Jessica and a younger brother named Ronald, but we call him Rony. My mom works at the local art museum and Daddy works in a big building called the World Trade center. He has to work very late at nights.
I walked downstairs. "Mommy, what's for breakfast?"
"Pancakes and eggs! Your favorite!" she replied
"Yummy!" I said. I said my blessing and gobbled them up. Delicious!
"I love Saturdays," I sighed. 6 year old Rony walked down the stairs.
"Hi sissy! Hi mommy!" he said. "Whats for breakfast? Pancakes? Yummy!'
"Yup, they're delish!" I said.
"Ashley," mom said to me while flipping a pancake, "Will you go wake up you're sister for me?"
"Sure thing!" Jessica is 13 years old and she sleeps really late. I walked into her room.
"Jessy! Wake up! Pancakes are ready!" I tapped her on the back.
"UGH," she said in a moody voice. She got up and trudged downstairs.
She sat down groggily, said her blessing and shoved it all down, then went to clean the dishes as she usually did.
After she was done mommy shooed her and Rony upstairs to get dressed.
"Where are we going? I asked mommy.
"To meet Daddy at his office." She said. "He left really early in the morning for work so he could get out early. We're going to Central Park for lunch."
"Yay! I love Central Park!" I said enthusiastically.
Rony and Jessy walked down the stairs. "Jessy! We're going to Central Park!"
She rolled her eyes. "Stop calling me that. I'm older now. I don't go by that little kid name anymore."
I taunted her, "Jessy, hey Jessy! Jessy, JESSY" I smiled.
"That's enough, Ashley" Mom said sharply. "Come on everyone, in the car." Mommy shooed us outside. We climbed into the car to go get Dad.
------------------------------------------------------------
After a long car ride stuck in traffic, we finally arrived at the WTC, as Daddy calls it.
He works waaaaaaaaaay up on the 34th floor. You can see the whole world from there!
We went into the elevator and I excitedly pressed the 34th button. The elevator goes REALLY fast. We were uo there in no time.
"Daddy? Daaaaaaaddy?" I called for him.
"Hi, sweety!" i turn around and there he is. I jumped up and gave him a big hug.
"Let's go to Central Park!" He said.
We drove for around 45 minuites before we got there. The traffic was TERRIBLE!
All five of us went in the gates like superstars. We went over to the hotdog stand to grab lunch.
We sat down at a picnic table near the big pond in the middle of the Park. There was a brown-haired blue-eyed boy sitting at the table across from ours. He was sitting with a baby, probably his little sister, a woman, probably his mother, and a man, probably his father. He was stuffing his face with hotdogs. I laughed to myself. He was silly.
After I finished my hotdog, I went over behind his table to wait for him. After he did, I came up behind him and asked, "Hey, do you wanna play tag?" I tapped him. "You're it!" I ran away from him. He giggled and followed after me. Mommy and the boy's mommy started talking together and laughed as they watched us play. He tagged me after about 30 seconds. "You're it!" He said in a funny accent. I payed no attention to it.
After chasing him for about 5 minutes, I got tired and stopped running and sat down on the ground. It took him a while to realize that I had stopped. He walked over to me and said, "That was fun. wanna play again?"
"I huffed and puffed till I could get enough air in my lungs to speak. "Sure! Maybe later, I'm really tired."
"By the way, whay's you're name?" He asked.
"Ashley, my name's Ashley. What about you?"
"Niall," he said, "You can call me Niall.
