" Yes Ms. Murphy but it's just Jenny reall-"
" I rather Jennifer" she cut in and placed a well laid out map in my hand. " Well if that's all you needed, I have work to do and you are in my working space so....scoot!" She said curtly.
She reminded me so much of that principal from " 10 things I Hate About You". Just generally wierd.
"O-ok. Goodbye!" I said as I turned to leave and ran into a girl. "Watch where you're going Regina!" She spat with hostility. She then looked up and looked surprised and apologetic. " so sorry I thought you were the school bi-" " Language, Miss Harrison!" Principal Williams said in a sing song voice. The girl rolled her eyes and apologised in a voice that made sure Ms. Williams knew she wasn't sorry. As we both walked away from the office door she offered her hand to shake saying "I'm Charlie Harrison. Nice to meet you." "Jenny McDermot. Ditto!" I replied. " What's up with Ms. Perky?!" Charlie let out a laugh and her dark hair fell off her shoulder revealing a pink strip of hair through it. " oh my God that's who she reminded me of!!" She said. " Ok I have to find Mr. Norman's English room so wish me luck!" I said. She looked at me with excitement and said " I LOVE that guy! I had him last year. Total BOSS! His room is down that corridor, 3rd on the left." I smiled at her gratefully. " See you at lunch?" She asked. I nodded in answer and waved goodbye as I made my way towards the corridor she pointed out.
