Chapter 1: (Kristen's POV) New Recruit

Age: 16

Birth date: December 17, 2997

Occupation: Protector of Angel Island

              Along with 100 other "young" troopers and over 7,000 troopers altogether, we protect this land from the traitors that started this war in the first place. Those stupid minded Horagens. You probably have no idea what I'm talking about, do you? Well, looks like I'm going to have to explain a lot to you.

              Angel Island was one of the most richest storiom in Sawling (Sawling came to be when a massive explosion happened in a place called Asia and separated chunks of land, making groups of islands, like Sawling. Storioms are the individual islands). Our leader, Jonathan Crutchet, usually gave a large amount of the money to the people, so we lived a very luxuriuos lifestlye. But we didn't take advantage of it, because we knew the leader could stop this priviledge at any time. Anyway, a storiom called Horag was having financial problems, so our very kind leader gave Horag some money to pick up their economy. But their greedy leader, Zailou Logen, wanted more money, so he kept pretending they were in financial needs. One day, though, when our leader wasn't giving as much money to Horag, Zailou confronted him, and they had a meeting. No one knows what they said at that meeting, but we all knew this: Jonathan figured out than all Zailou wanted was the money, and that started the war. So in 3007, Sawling War III started, otherwise know as " The Money War" . Clever name right? Now, you are probably wondering "Why did you join? Isn't it scary?". Well to tell you the truth, my mother got me in to this, not my dad, as you might think. My dad did not like the thought of "losing his little girl" (even though I was fourteen at the time and definetly WASN'T a little girl), but my mom knew I was tougher than that. She knew I wasn't some prissy little girl, and she knew I could handle this. So she signed me up. I've been a trooper ever since, and our general said that I was "the most dedicated and best trooper he has ever met". Anyway, I was checking attendance when General Hooly came in to the room and told me he needed to talk to me. I nodded and told the troopers "I'll be right back. Don't snoop, or you'll run 50 laps!". Yeah, I was basically the general for the YTS(Young Troopers Society). As I was walking to the general's office, I wondered if I was doing anything wrong considering how I did things. I mean, I was a little strict sometimes, but that's what makes these troopers stonger. I walked into the general's office an he told me to sit down. I followed orders, and he told me that first off I wasn't in any trouble. That was a great sigh of relief. If you get in trouble in here, you could get kicked out. Permanetly.

              " We have a new recruit, K," he said, " and I want you to be his uhh... how do you say it..... tutor for the most part." he explained. Yes! I've been waiting for a new recruit! Plus, I get to tutor him/her, which shows a sign of respect and honor.

              "Bring him in, boys!" he shouted. Two bulky army men entered the room with apparently my new recruit.

              "Oh no," I said. "This is my new recruit?"
