Ginny's POV
"HEY YOU GUYS - Oh. Sorry to disturb the peace."
Sirius had just burst into our room. I was awake while Teddy and Harry were still snoring. I was combing Teddy's turquoise hair with my fingers, and when Padfoot had barged in I had put my finger over my lips and hushed his voice into a whisper.
"What do you want?" I asked/whispered.
"Prongs told me to come an wake you up," he whispered loudly.
"Why?"
"I don't know."
"Fine." I wasn't whispering now, and turned to Harry to brush the hair out of his face. "Wake up, Harry."
He mumbled something, but didn't open his eyes. Sirius had left, and I decided to let the boys have their beauty sleep. So I washed my face, brushed my teeth, changed, and headed downstairs.
Remus, Sirius, Lily and James were the only ones up. I sighed in relief, happy Ron wasn't there, and sat with Lily.
"Good morning," said Remus.
"It's a morning," I said glumly.
"I was just telling the Marauders and Lily about how I found you sleeping this morning." Sirius grinned.
"At this point, I really don't care, Padfoot. Ron's being a bloody git to me, the bastard."
They exchanged looks, and I raised an eyebrow at my friends.
"We want to know what happened,"; said Lily, answering my silent question. "With the Chamber of Secrets. I mean, only if you want too," she added quickly.
I sighed. "At least you're asking. I don't like to talk about it."
"Hermione told us," said James. "But Ginny, we're your friends. You can tell us anything."
"I didn't tell Neville or Luna, even! Somehow in school it got out and everyone was on me with questions and I told everyone it was just a rumor and now... I don't know..."
"Ginervra," Remus said sternly. "We have the right to know."
"Don't call me that. I had to explain this whole thing to the future yous!" I said, pointing at Sirius and Remus. "And now I have to do it again! You should ask Harry what happened, because I was unconscious half the time."
"Unconscious? Why?" Lily asked. "And we did, we asked, but he said we should ask you, and now I'm confused!"
"Okay fine! I was possessed by Voldemort through this enchanted diary when I was eleven and petrified tons of people, almost killed Harry, was forced to control a basilisk, and... Ron's holding it against me! I don't know why he keeps bringing it up! He just... I don't know, I - If Harry hadn't been there I'd be dead! It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me! I got Hagrid arrested from it, the school almost shut down, I came so close to killing both Hermione and Harry and... I still have nightmares about it sometimes, and in my dreams Harry's never there to save me, and Tom wins, and he tells me the worst things... He tells me no one has nor ever will love me, and Harry won't even notice I'm alive, and I'm a complete discrase to the wizarding name and I'm fit to be a Muggle and every time I have them I wake up and know he's right!"
By the time I finished ranting, I was sobbing into my hands. Lily was rubbing my back, tears in her eyes. James, Sirius, and Remus looked appalled.
"You know that is not true," said Sirius. "You aren't a discrase. You're brilliant. You're dating Harry, for Merlin's sake, he adores you! Of course he has noticed you. We all love you, we're as good as your family. Hell, if you were a Muggle, no one would be here to help us now. Harry probably wouldn't have anyone. Don't think no one loves you, sweetheart."
"Padfoot, that might've been the most almost-smart thing you've said in years," said Remus. "No, scratch that, your whole life."
"The point is, hun," said Lily, "that we all love you, no matter what. We don't care what happened in the Chamber, only that you got out safely."
And then for some reason we were all hugging, and James said randomly, "Oh, you lucky, you get some Marauder lovin'."
That got me laughing and crying at the same time.
"Morn- Oh. Sorry to break the moment." Neville had just walked in.
"Sirius did it to me this morning, it's alright," I said as we broke the hug. "And so did James the other day."
Aww, damn I shouldn't have said that. James grinned evilly at me.
"Yeah, I found her and Harry snogging in the bathroom."
"Yeah..." I said a little hysterically, embarrassed.
"And I stood there for a good minute before they noticed me."
"Okay you can stop now."
"And -"
"I'm up," Harry said sleepily as he walked in, kissed me on the cheek, and began to pour himself coffee.
"Oh, you're just in time!" James said a little cheerily. "I was just telling them about -"
"Why don't we go into the living room?" I suggested quickly, changing the subject and grabbing Harry's hand.

Albus Dumbledore arrived here an hour later to review our final plan.
"Before we begin," said Dumbledore, "I'd like to congratulate you, Lily, James."
"Thank you, sir," the couple said at the same time.
"Now, Ginny. Tell us, what's your plan?"
"Well," I said, clearing my voice. Then I explained the plan, and all was silent when I was finished. Dumbledore seemed to be thinking.
Finally he said with a smile, "I'm quite sure that will work, Ginny. The best of wishes to you all, and good luck. And oh, Ginny, I just wanted to tell you... There's no going back. What's done is done."
"Bye!" Teddy called as Dumbledore Apparated away.
"That was fast," said Harry.
"I thought he would give us more than that," said Ron bitterly.
"Maybe our plan was so good he didn't have a comment," Sirius suggested. "But I highly doubt that extraordinary possibility."
I was still mad at Ron. He hadn't talked to me at all sense the night before.
"Who wants a game of Exploding Snap?" James asked suddenly.
*PLEASE READ AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Okay, I know, I know. It's short. And it took me forever. I have an excuse: we're having final exams at school all this AND next week in EVERY subject (math, reading, grammar, science, band, history, ect.), and my teachers keep on giving me HW and I'm really busy.
I know I didn't explain their "plan", but I will next chapter. Promise.
Sorry for the long wait, it won't be as long next time hopefully!
