Prologue
Whoosh... Whoosh as the waves crash onto the white sand. I stared at the beautiful horizon. I'm Ella, an outgoing, friendly girl. I moved here in Hanalolu 6 years ago when I was just 8 years old. My family and I originally came from The Philippines and let me tell you that lots and lots of differences and changes had taken place since then.
I go to a private school regularly like an average teen.
This past year was my first year being in a high school.
As usual, I'd be my immature little self. But what I never saw coming was that I was about to meet a certain person who would change me for a long time and make a huge impact on me and my life.
I met this guy named Liam. He made me happiest girl and became very special to me eventually. I think even though it seemed as if I was his everything, it was just me who cared with my heart. To Liam it was a game.
It's been a year since we broke up. My story is somewhat similar to William Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet novel.Dating him for 5 months makes me wonder each day 'till now, if I should be regretting it or accepting it and realizing that it made me smile.
What I'm trying to say here is since my "tragedy" happened, it made me stronger. I may be too young to get sleepless nights over a guy but all of that is over. Officially. But as my dear father said, "The first time you fall in love, it changes you forever and no matter how hard you try, the feeling never goes away."
I'm Ella. Broken. Hurt. Loved. Forgotten. Accepted. Welcome to my soul, My LIFE.
