The next couple of days were okay Sherlock never really paid attention to Jessie. Mrs Hudson loved Jessie, she always fed her thinking she was too skinny. She has Sherlock's build. I began to worry, she has his eating habits, she just doesn't eat, but I tell her she can't leave the table until she eats. She will sit at the table for hours until she falls asleep. At least she sleeps unlike Sherlock. It's a rainy day and I am eating breakfast, I realize she is not at the table. Sherlock is at the table staring at his toast. "Sherlock where is Jessie?" I ask. He looks up, I don't know," he shrugs. I roll my eyes and head to her room. Maybe she is sick. I knock on her door. No answer. I open it, she is not there. She could be eating at Mrs. Hudson's. I rush down to her flat. She is in robe sitting at her table. "Hello deary," she says. "Have you seen Jessie?" I ask. "No not since yesterday," she says. I swear and run upstairs. I search the house, but I can't find her. I begin to panic. I head to the front door, I open it to find Jessie sitting on the front steps. It has stopped raining. I walk down and sit next to her. I hear quiet sniffles. She has been crying. "What's wrong Sweetheart?" I ask her. She shakes her head. "You need to tell me," I say. "Daddy still hates me," she says. "No sweetheart he loves you he just needs to understand that he has a kid, when he realizes he will love you," I say putting my arm around her. She lays her head on my shoulder. "At least I have you to love me," she says smiling up at me. " I will always be here for you," I say kissing her on head. "Now come on before you catch a cold," I says leading her up the stairs. She heads of to her bedroom, Sherlock still sitting at the table. "She was really upset, she thinks you don't love her," I say. "Hmmm," is all he says. I was about to yell at him, but Mrs. Hudson got to him first. "Sherlock I need to talk to you," she says. She steps out of the flat. About 10 minutes later, Sherlock walks in and heads down the hallway to Jessie's room. I look up at Mrs. Hudson, "talked some sense into him?" I ask. "You bet I did," she laughs. If Sherlock won't listen to to me he sure will listen to Mrs. Hudson, he says he is not scared of anything but I know he is scared of Mrs. Hudson. I sit down and finish my now cold breakfast. 30 minutes later I hear a bedroom door open and out walks Sherlock, his arm is around Jessie, they are smiling. This was a type of smile I have never seen Sherlock do. I smile. Jessie goes off to watch Telly. "John I realized that I really do love Jessie," he says looking at me. I nearly fall of my chair, Sherlock having a feeling of love to a child! " Good for you now you need to stay that way," I say pointing my finger at him.
