"Babe!" I called out for Dylan but he was taking forever in the bathroom. He's been in there for at least ten minutes doing God knows what. I tapped my foot and knocked at the door impatiently as I heard some shuffling and movements.
"I'm coming!" He stated. The door knob rattled as he came out of the room wearing a white t-shirt with some dark washed jeans.
"Can we go?" I said. "Hayley and Jackson are outside."
"Yeah, c'mon," he bent down to kiss my cheek and hurriedly walked down the stairs. I followed behind him as he grabbed his keys which were placed on a wooden table and his coat which hung from the coat rack.
We walked outside his house and found Hayley and Jackson waiting for us. They both gave us a look of annoyance for making them loiter but we ignored it as we marched towards Dylan's car.
"What took you guys so long?" Jackson asked as he buckled his seatbelt at the passenger seat. He was sitting beside Dylan while Hayley and I were seated at the back.
"Macho man over here was taking too long in the bathroom," I pointed towards Dylan who rolled his eyes at me through the mirror. He let out a quiet chuckle and I did the same.
"Do you think that my hair is naturally this swift?" He joked.
"Dude, you're such a girl," Jackson retorted. Dylan turned to glare at him and pouted which I found adorable. His bottom lip stuck out and his eyebrows were knitted in a cute, childish way.
"Cut the bromance. Less talking more driving," Hayley ordered. Jackson turned around at the sound of her voice and looked at her smiling sweetly. She glanced at him and nodded her head before turning away to stare out the window as Dylan started the car and began to drive. How she couldn't see his obvious liking for her was beyond me but I shrugged it off from my thought.
The four of us were on our way to celebrate the football game that the boys had won yesterday but I'd also like to think that we were off to commemorate the chemistry test which I got a 92 percent on.
We planned to go to dinner at a restaurant downtown. From what I've heard, it's one of the best places to eat. It was one of those restaurants where you could watch the food being cooked for you as the chef performed some cool culinary tricks. It sounded very entertaining and I was really excited to go there.
"I'm so hungry I could eat like twenty chickens," I said as we entered the restaurant.
"I didn't know you loved cock so much," Hayley winked. I slapped her in the arm and tried to glare at her seriously but the sight of her in pain made it hard. She frowned at me rubbing her arm. I let out soft giggles.
"You have such a dirty mind," I added to her.
"I thought what she said was clever," Jackson shrugged. Hayley smirked at me and stuck out her tongue.
"Which head were you using to think about that, Jackson?" Dylan retaliated smirking at him and raising an eyebrow. Jackson was puzzled for a moment but he suddenly blushed in realization as we all began to laugh.
The hostess led us to our table. It had a stove in the middle of it with some other kitchen supplies and an opening for the chef to walk through. We sat down reading the menu as we waited for our chef to come.
"Welcome," a voice said. We all pointed our heads at the direction the voice belonged to and spotted the chef as he made his way towards us. He was dressed in all white with an apron wrapped around his waist and a chef hat on his head. We smiled politely as he entered through the opening to stand in front of us. "Are you all ready to order?"
