Prologue

After the war nothing was the same.

Ron and Hermione broke up, but

they're still friends. Ginny fell for Dean Thomas. Again. Harry and Hermione were brokenhearted. Then they knew they had to tell each other that they always loved each other.

Chapter 1

Ron, Hermione, and me were hanging out at the Three Broomsticks. We were back to friendship status. Ever since they broke up I had the urge to ask Hermione something. Something that Ron never knew. Something that I always hid. My crush for Hermione. I've always loved her. This is my chance to tell her I love her. He took a swig of his butterbeer. Harry looks so dreamy with that lightning scar and those glasses. "Oh, Harry you have somthing right here." "Oh sorry!" No I can't, I can't love Harry. Oh, face it Hermione you've loved him all these years. You loved Ron too. You were tied between them, but Harry didn't say anything. How could a man like that love me? He's the boy who freaking lived, and I'm the girl who studied. I'm also the brightest witch of my age. Plus I kicked some ass on the way. If I'm brave enough to kick death eaters' ass I guess I'm brave enough to tell him.

Chapter 2

"Hey Hermione can I talk to you?"

"Sure. I need to talk to you too."

"I lo-" they interrupted each other.

"You go first." "No you!" Harry was the man he had to say it. "I love you Hermione! I have always loved you! There I said it I feel so much better." Hermione looked like she just saw a ghost. Did he say he loved me? Eeek! I can't believe it. He loves me! "I love you too Harry James Potter!" "You mean we both love each other?" "I guess so.." She pushed a strand of hair that fell in her beautiful big brown eyes. Harry got down on one knee. "Hermione Jean Granger, will you go out with me?" "Yes yes absolutely yes!" He gave her passionate kiss. It felt real.

Chapter 3

I'm dating Hermione Granger. Merlin's beard what about Ron? How are we going to explain it? Where am I going to take her? Maybe to a romantic dinner on the Eiffel Tower. She'd love that. I'd let her tell me about the history on the Eiffel Tower. I love when she does that. Right back to Ron. I'll talk to her.

I'm dating Harry FREAKING Potter! Holy Cricket! What about Ron? How we going to break it to him? Well he is dating Lavender Brown, so it probably won't hurt him. Where's he going to take me? To Paris? Ooh what about Rome! I'd love that. I'll tell him fun facts about it. He loves it when I tell him those. Back to Ron. I'll talk to him.

Chapter 4

I called Harry. "What about Ron?" We said at the same time. It was adorable when we did that. Gah! "Hermione how are we going to break it to him?" Let's meet him at the Leaky Cauldron." I called him up. I can't believe I'm telling my best friend that I'm dating his ex-girlfriend. "Hey guys why'd you call me here?" Ron asked. "We wanted to announce something." "Alright hurry up I have a date with Lav in a minute." "I'll tell him. Ron, me and Hermione are dating." "WHAT?" "Yeah we started going out this morning." "I am... so happy for you guys." He said "What?" "I knew you were perfect for each other. Well have fun! I gotta go!" Wow that was easy!
