Chapter 2

Dawn's POV
Yesterday, I mastered a new trick and Mathew was around to see it. I saw his face it was total freaked out by how good I am! Then I skated home.

Now it's time for school, which I'm okay with. i'm smart, so I always know all the answers but not all of them. Today we have a test. I think I might do bad. I just don't get this topic!! I had 3 days of skating wasted trying to figure this out but I just couldn't.

I answer as best as I could and after I feel a little better.
I went to my locker, the best thing is Mathews locker is next To mine. But he's never noticed. I heard hike talking to his friend Ben
"Ben she was totally cool! She's a better skater then me! And you! She was like WOSH and WEEP! She didn't even fall, and then she skated away." Mathew was shushed by Ben
"I doubt that a girl from around our area could really skate better then us!" Ben said.

I grabbed my board from my locker and skated away I took a little glance behind me, Ben's mouth dropped opened.
I skated out of the school but snuck back in to hear what they said.
"Told you!" Mathew said
"Hey, wasn't that the smart girl? You know the one with the twin?!" Ben said as Sydney walked past. She stopped.
"You mean Dawn, she has a name you know!" Then she continued walking.

I scrambled back outside. I acted like I was waiting for Sydney.
Then she grabbed he bike and we went home.
