One Direction and 5SOS everything and anything.

'Fake' Fan

Okay so this is kinda a rant post so if you don't like rants don't read - simple!

So I was scrolling through Facebook when I saw a post from the One Direction page about Drag Me Down.  I decided to look down the comments and I saw a comment by someone saying (these aren't their exact words but highlight the point I am making) 'i love One Direction but I'm not a fan of this song'.  This girl had 9 comments I think?  Out of them two particularly stood out as they called her a 'fake' fan for not liking all their music.

Does anyone agree with this?  Should we blindly follow a band and love everything they do?  I disagree.  When I first heard Steal My Girl I wasn't a fan of it but I grew to like it.  To me that doesn't make me feel like a fake fan.  When the joint incident happened I wasn't proud and I wasn't constantly sticking up for them like some fans.  To me I still don't think that was me being a fake fan.  But I stuck by them nevertheless and still am with them.  I may not agree with everything they do but they are still a band I fell in love with and still people I find amazing and I will continue supporting even if I don't like some things - I just won't stand up for those - but I'll be a fan still and support them when I agree.  I'm not sure if I quite make sense lol and oops.  

Anyway I think to be a fan and a directioner it doesn't require you to love everything they do and make - you are entitled to your own opinion.  I would add to this but I think this is enough.  I don't know how many people agree with me but let me know what you think anyway but please no hate, I was just stating my opinion and sorry if I offend anyone x
