Charlie's POV:
Today was softball tryouts! I'm so nervous, Chris, Bentley, Logan and my dad were sitting on the benches. This girl comes up to me and decides to talk
"Hey, I'm Emily!" She said with a big grin on her face
"Hey.. I'm Charlie." I mumble back. I didn't really wanna talk to no one my head was set on making the softball team I look over at Chris who winks at me and tells me I'm going to be amazing I can't help but laugh at him. He is so cute! Ever since the kiss he has been antsy around me. I wonder if I did something wrong..
I look at my phone one more time before I'm up to bat and I got one message.. It's from Reid I haven't talked to him since the whole Chris thing I decided to read it.
From: Reid.
Hey Charlie,
Sorry about the whole sexy mama thing I didn't mean anything by it. It was just a joke ... Don't worry your boyfriend told me everything.. He beat my face in as well that's why I haven't been at school.. Well I hope we can be friends..
I re read it like 5 times... Chris beat Reid for saying that! He told me nothing happened after I ran off! Ugh, this makes me so mad! Why did he lie to me! I went up to bat and Logan could tell I was mad and I heard someone cheer for me
"You got this babe!" Chris yells loudly.
I mumble under my breath and as soon as the pitcher lets go of the ball I hit it and it goes all the way out of the field and after I hit I run to the bathroom tears prickling my eyes!
I was so stupid to believe that he didn't do anything after we had an argument
Logan was running after me and came into the bathroom where I was.
"Charlie, what's wrong..?" She looked worried
"He lied.." I managed to mumble under my breath.
She said no more except she came to me and hugged me tightly. What will I do next?
