When they returned to the cave, a dark evil cackle filled the air. "So help me. If that's a clown, someone is in for a major beating." Raven raged, she had never liked clowns, and feared them slightly, but her hatred for them overpowered that. Out stepped Piedmon, extremely smug, and just from looking at him, Raven lost it. "IT IS A CLOWN!!!" She summoned her weapon, and manipulated it to turn into a giant hammer. Raising it above her head, and she charged, never giving him a chance. "I HATE CLOWNS!! MY STEPFATHER WAS A CLOWN AND I HATE MY STEPFATHER!!!!" With every swing she beat him harder, shouting something new with every swing. "NEVER EVEN TRY TO ATTACK ME OR ANYONE I KNOW!! YOU'LL GET YOUR *** KICKED FOR SURE MOTHER******!!" She then resorted to cursing. "**** OFF!!" Eventually Myotismon had to hold her back, but lost his grip, and Beezlemon stepped in. Both holding her back, raging, already having beaten the snot out of him, and she wasn't finished, still wanting revenge. Piedmon in fear of his life, just left, forgetting about his planned attack, but hatching a new one. "Raven, calm down! We're trying NOT to delete him. And you're doing the exact opposite." Both brothers managed to shout at the same time, holding down the still struggling Raven, her desire for revenge strong, Keramon eventually stepped in, and helped with his tentacles. After she struggled for an hour, Raven calmed down, sitting on a rock, weapon nearby, pouting, Keramon sitting on her shoulder, trying to cheer her up. When night fell, she suddenly stood up, made her weapon disappear, transformed, and started to walk off. "Where are you going?" Raven turned to Myotismon just glaring at him, her feelings having been mixed for awhile. "Away, I need some time alone. And don't even bother trying to follow me, I can sense if anyone is around. She turned and bolted, Keramon hanging on tight, watching as the jungle they had moved too after Raven had calmed down a bit, rushed past, the sound of ocean waves, becoming louder by the minute, in the distance he could hear Myotismon's desperate cries for her to come back, fading. Raven turned to the right, entering a den next to the water's edge, sealing the opening with sharp thorns, not wanting anyone to bother her, before plopping on the ground, crying her eyes out, turning back into a human. "Raven, why did you just run off like that?" Raven looked to her beloved partner, before crying harder, her words barely audible. " Remember how the night after Voxen got hurt, Myotismon and I came back inside with red cheeks. That night he wanted to talk to me in private, we ended up almost kissing! Kissing, Keramon. Kissing!! There where these strange floating glowing things, they were everywhere, we got distracted, and didn't even notice how close we were getting to eachother. Before we knew it, his hand was on top of mine, and then we pulled them away. He started asking about me, and why I was so cautious around guys, so I told him about my first boyfriend, and how I was abused. Myotismon made me look at him, and said he was sorry that I had to go through that. Then he started to lean close, our faces were only inches apart, before I noticed what was happening. I naturally freaked out, and ended pushing him off the log we were sitting on. That's when we came back in. And then I got to thinking about it, and well, I just got so confused. I don't know what to do." She began to cry uncontrollably, her heart in too many places at once." The chance for a reply was ruined by two tails crashing through the vines, wrapping around Raven, and pulling her out, making her scream loudly. "So you're the girl that Piedmon has been talking about? From the sound of it you've caught his eye, don't know why, but he want's you." She began to thrash wildly, not wanting to see him. "Keramon, help!" The device around her waist lit up, and Keramon began to glow. "Keramon digivolve to.... Chrysalimon!" He charged forward, the sharp endings on his tentacles going right for the attacker's heart, but bounced off. "Ha, you think that's going to stop me? My armor is made from Chrome Digizoid, it's impossible to break." She saw a spot on his tail with no armor, and bit down hard, forcing him to let her go. She crashed into the water, but for some reason wasn't afraid, Raven just let it consume her body, before feeling the tails grab her again. "You have no clue what you just did. You won't be going back to Piedmon unharmed." The serpent's face was now close to her's, Raven looked deep within herself, before calling out. "Seaweed Snag!" Large seaweed leaves burst from the water, and wrapped around her attacker, trying to pull him under, but were quickly broken, making the snake laugh. "You'll have to do better than that if you want to stop me." A sudden screech from the air, made both turn. A black and blue phoenix, was racing through the air, talons out, aimed right for the sea snake's eye, and landed a direct hit. Raven was dropped once more, but felt a strong pair of arms catch her, just before she hit the water. Another screech was heard before, the phoenix fell to the water. Raven managed to get out the arms holding her, and dived into the water, ignoring the familiar cries, and swam after the bird. She managed to grab it around the chest, and raced to the surface, getting the phoenix's head above water. She raced onto the beach, phoenix in hand, managing to dodge the tails, and shoot off a blast, making the digimon that had attacked her, flee, the damage it had taken severe. The phoenix squawked lightly, almost like it was happy to see her, before flapping its wings, and drying off, taking a place on a nearby rock. "Raven!" Raven was still mad at the owner of the voice, and stepped aside, sticking her foot so he would trip, which he did. "I'm still upset. And don't even think that acting like a brave knight is going to solve anything." Myotismon pulled his head from the sand, and glared. "What did I do?" "You know exactly what you did!" "No, I don't. Just tell me what happened." "You know exactly what happened. I didn't push you off that log for no reason." "That's what this is all about?! Me almost kissing you! I got lost in the moment. And the Glowmon didn't help anything." Raven lost it, and stormed off, grabbing Keramon in the process. "Don't even think about trying to walk off again. Voxen just took a swim because of you." Myotismon grabbed her wrist tightly, stopping her from moving. "If you had listened to me and stayed behind, then he wouldn't have. Now let me go!" His grip tightened, causing her to hiss from the pain. "And if we did, then Piedmon would've had you in his clutches! And I'm sure that you wouldn't want that, now would you?" "Just how can you be so sure? Maybe I wanted to go, it would get me away from you! Now leave me alone!" The argument had become heated, each becoming more aggravated by the moment. "And just why should I?" "Because, all you've done is cause me problems." "You need us to survive." She had it, and knocked Myotismon in the jaw, forcing him to let go. "No I don't! I don't need any of you, the only person who I do need is Keramon. He's loyal, and understanding, plus he doesn't try and force me to be where I don't wan to be. And if you try anything like that again, then I won't hesitate to attack, because you're acting just like him. So just leave me be!" She transformed and ran off, ignoring Voxen's cries, her own tears spurring her on. Raven kept running, not knowing where she was going, until she became extremely cold, an icy wind blowing. "Raven, we need to go back. It's too cold for you here. I might be able to live in this, but I don't know if your fur is thick enough." She shook lightly, the cold nipping at her. "I'm fine. He probably won't even bother to look here, there's a cave up ahead, we can take shelter in there." She walked in, still crying her silent tears, and lit a fire. "Raven please. I know you're mad, but if we stay here for too long, you might get really sick." She transformed back, revealing that her clothes were now longer and warmer, and a cloak sat on her shoulders. "I said I'm fine, let's try not to stay here for too long. If he does come looking for us, I don't want to be here when he checks." She layed down to rest, still crying her eyes out, feeling what almost seemed like a desire in her heart, being unable to keep her mind off Myotismon. They only rested for a few hours, before Raven announced that it was time to go, and left, not even bothering to transform, Keramon at her side, not bothered by the cold. They walked for what seemed like hours, before Raven's shaking got to be too much for Keramon. "Raven, please. We need to go back, you're shivering far too much." "I'm fine, Keramon. There's no need to worry, let's just keep going." Her tears had now frozen, but she continued to cry. After another hour of walking, Raven collapsed on the ground, her vision starting to go black. The last thing she heard was Keramon yelling something, and saw a deep blue blur come o her side, before the world went black. (now let's rewind to the part where she ran off, and get the other end of the story) Voxen sat on the rock, and watched as she ran off, calling out her name, but got no response. He flew and landed on Myotismon's head, before pecking him in a rage. "You almost kissed her?! And from the sound of it you did it on the same night I found out Garurumon was my partner! Do you have any idea what kind of emotions that can trigger? And yelling at her doesn't help anything, it'll just make it worse, she responds better to kindness. She's gone and run off again because of you. Now we have to go and find her before she get's into serious trouble. Come on Garurumon, we need to hurry. And just because she's mad at you, doesn't mean you can't help look. Beezlemon and Garurumon, will take the ground. Myotismon and I will take the sky." Voxen flew off, moving quickly. Myotismon felt something growing inside him, almost like it was a desire, and he couldn't keep Raven off his mind. They searched for hours, before Myotismon saw something blue in the snow, and looking closely he could tell it was Keramon, something was laying beside him. Keramon just so happened to look up, and spotted him, calling out, saying something about Raven. Myotismon flew down, and saw Raven laying in the snow, unmoving, her eyes starting to close. He came to her side, just as they closed fully. (now we know what happened) "What happened to her?" "I kept trying to tell her, that we need to go back. But she kept insisting that she was fine, eventually she just collapsed." Myotismon took her in his arms, letting Keramon jump on. "We need to get her warm. Is there anywhere we could possibly take shelter?" "We stopped in a cave just a few hours walk from here, but we'll never make it in time." Myotismon, looked to the sky, and flew up, managing to find Voxen. "I've got her, she's unconscious from the cold. There should be a cave not far from here, get the others and we'll meet there." Voxen nodded, before flying off, Myotismon racing for the cave, the desire in his heart strong, nothing but saving Raven on his mind. He raced in, seeing that a fire was still burning. He came close, and layed her next to it, before starting to cry himself. "Why am I such an idiot? I've felt like this ever since I met her, there's no denying it now. I'm in love with Raven, and yet I manged to get her into this situation." Keramon went up to his side, and began to comfort him, until a small noise caught their attention. Looking to Raven, they saw her eyes were opening, and a smile cross her face. "I've felt the same way ever since I met you too. Guess we're both in love." Myotismon's eyes lit up, before he brought her close. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know what I was thinking." "It's alright, and I'm not mad at you anymore. I guess I was just mad at myself, unhappy with my feelings." They looked to eachother, as Raven's body healed instantly, allowing her to move, and get close to him. A sudden thud directed them to the entrance, where Beezlemon, Voxen, and Garurumon had just fainted, resulting in them all loosing it. Each coming to after an hour, with Voxen flipping out because Raven was in love, and he didn't want it to turn out like the last one. Raven yawned, and leaned closer to Myotismon, before closing her eyes and falling asleep, Keramon doing the same soon after. That night everyone slept peacefully. Raven in Myotismon's arms, Keramon in Raven's, Voxen curled up next to Garurumon, and Beezlemon not far from his brother. All having a sweet dream thanks to the happiness that radiated from the two guardians. Raven's from the love she felt, and Voxen's from knowing that his best friend was ok. Unknowingly being watch by a sacred being.
A/N: Yes the phoenix above is supposed to be Voxen, and I used the video to show how Raven freaked out and pushed Myotismon, and I'm not very good when it comes to writing love confessions, or characters falling in love, but after I do, fluff will ensue.
