New City,New Everything

"Em!Em!EMILY!!"my mom called as i was asleep dreaming about unicorns invading our backyard...wierd. I woke up looking around this stupid plane that took my mom and i away from our home. We got off,and not even 20 seconds some lady that i some how looked familiar to me...WTF "Janit its so great to see u!!"my mother said while hugging the lady,then it hit me she was my moms best friend that helped my mother raise me "Emily!!!!u have grown so much!!" Janit said while hugging me "Uhm...thanks!" I said with confusion, but still wise enough to put on a fake smile. "So Amy how was New York?" Janit asked as we started to walk to the front of L.A.X
"Good, Emily and i have been working on a clothing line for the past couple of months now. How are things with you and Derek?"...Derek is her husband.
"Uhm...good i guess. Things have been really busy between us so we dont have time for eachother." She said while looking down at her fingers while walking.
" You know I can hear everything you people say, right?!" I said while raising my eyebrows looking at them like I knew everything. "Uhm...yea." My mother told me while putting all of our luggage in the back of Janit's Grey 3500 2015 Lifted Dodge Ram .
I got in the backseat, buckled my seat belt ready to start a new life in California.
We were driving around for about 45 minutes in the city just looking at some weird stuff trying to get to know the place,but at the same time it was kinda interesting. I mean HOT DUDES doing skateboard tricks,people surfing some big ass waves,(btw i surf to),the crystal clear blue water,golden sand,palm tree's dancing in the wind,people getting tans,VERY expensive cars on the shoreline...i could get used to this place!
