Through all of my classes, that girl was all I could think about. I wanted to find out who she was, and when did she start going to our school. When I finally worked up enough courage to go find her and ask her who she was, she was nowhere to be found.

When I got home, the first thing I noticed was the smell of chocolate, which was not a normal smell in this household, because my mother doesn't like it. I found my mother in the kitchen, making cookies.
"Mom?"
"Oh, hey sweetie. How was your day?"
"Fine," I replied hesitantly.
"Why are you making cookies?"
"Oh, I must've forgot to tell you, we have new neighbors."
New neighbors? When did this happen?
"Okay, is that why you're making cookies?"
"Yes, Max. Now go get washed up. We will be going over in a minute."
We? Oh boy. This should be good.
