Life isn't something to take for granted,
It is a gift in which we have to take care of.
There are times when life is all you want,
When you have a family that loves you.
When you have friends that will be there for you,
And when you see the life you created yourself.
Love pulls us together,
And pulls us apart.
Trust can create a bond,
And destroy one.
There are times when life can be a burden,
When you lose a friend or family member.
When you find out the man you loved cheated on you,
Or when things get too hard that you want to give up.
Life is our key to keep going,
It is the strength that keeps us strong.
Forever it will be there,
Enticing the thought to never give up.
But without life then you would not be here,
Neither would any unborn children.
We wouldn't have come so far without life,
I wouldn't be here either.
So I won't allow anything to hold me back,
I will live my life to its fullest,
And never give my gift up.
