My name's Jasmine. I have straight shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes. I guess you could say I'm hard core? Really I'm just a really cheerful goth who loves a lot of rock music. I can be mean, but most of the time I chose not to. You see I'm going to this really good school here in South Carolina, and I'm pretty sure I'll make some friends. It's hard to move from California to South Carolina. I had so many friends in California and I had met so many celebrities I had a scrapbook full of pictures. I loved the beach and the heat even in the winter. Now I'm moving down south to the Palmetto State all because I had accidentally burned down a public toilet in my old school. Now given my reputation of a totally hard core emo/goth with no feelings and no mind I was the first victim to get evaluated for the fire. Now here I am standing in front of my full length mirror in my favorite outfit. A pair of black and white striped stockings my black and white long-sleeved shirt. My combat boots were on my feet and my rock star purse hung on one shoulder and my one shoulder guitar-shaped backpack rested on the other. I took a deep breath and walked to my car.

Five minuetes later I parked my Vintage Beetle Bug in the school parking lot. There were kids walking to the gates of the school or lounging on benches or the grass. I sighed and headed toward what I hoped was the main office. "Hey!" I heard someone shout. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around. "Hi you must be new here," a jock with shoulders as broad as doors said. I nodded. "My name's Jasmine," I smiled. The jock smiled back. "Well Jasmine I hope to see you around," then the jock turned around and ran back to his buddys high-fiving all of them. I was dissapointed to see one of the guys hand the jock some money. I smirked. Typical. Picking on the new kid.I entered the front office and went to the desk. "Hello," the lady behind the desk said. "Hi. I'm a new student and I need my class schedule," I smiled at the women. "Okay name?" the woman asked. "Jasmine Mills," I said. The lady behind the desk typed for a few seconds on the keyboard and looked back up at me. "Here you are,Jasmine Mills. Okay here is your schedule and a map of the school and also a pass to go to the library and gets your books. Your locker number is 103 here's the key to the lock," she said handing me everything. She handed me a key on a key chain with a square on it that said the school's name. "Thank you," I said as I walked out the door. I looked at the map and found the library. As I walked to the library I got stares from everybody. Just as I had reached the library a hand grabbed my arm. "Come on Jessica. Oh sorry you're not Jessica," the boy who had been pulling on my arm blushed. "Sorry you look just like her from behind," he looked at the floor and didn't make eye contact with me. "It's okay," I smiled and walked into the library. In the library I got my textbooks and walked to my locker. I put the key in the lock and shoved my books in. My backpack went in and hung on one of the hooks. I smiled. It looked just like it did in California.

I walked into my first class and saw the boy who had called me Jessica was in the same homeroom as me. When he saw me he blushed and stared down at his converse. The girl next to him saw me and patted the seat in front of her. "Hi!" she said when I sat down. "Hi, my name's Jasmine I'm new here," I replied. She smiled showing off bright teeth. "I'm Jessica and that's Thomas," she said jabbing a finger over her shoulder as the boy meekly waved at me. "I've met him already it seems," I smiled and Thomas blushed. "Oh really?" Jessica joked. "Was he hitting on you?" Jessica wisphered. "No he thought I was you," I laughed. Thomas just turned to glare at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and he smirked. The teacher walked in the door. "Alright class settle down. It seems today we have a new student. Class say hi to Jasmine," the teacher witch I soon came to know as Ms.Hildaberry was nice and sweet and happy to the class. She gave us only a little homework and told me I didn't have to take the test they were going to have on algebra the next day. I refused her offer and told her I had already taken algebra and I would take the test. She had beamed at me and gave me a toostie pop from a jar on her desk. I smiled. I think I'll like this school.

I had to move here 'cause I set a toilet on fire.Where stories live. Discover now
