I've always been taught that when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Well, if I ever find the person who coined this phrase I'd love to ask him or her, "What should a person do, if he or she hates lemonade?"
All in all what I am trying to say is that life cannot solely be lived the way books, novels, stories and television tell us. Even old world idioms and quotes can fail at times because no two lives lived are the same.
I was having the time of my life. This was the moment I had waited for all my life. I have worked hard to be where I am right now. The people whom I have tried to win-over for so many years are finally by my side. The crowd is cheering for me. All these people are here to celebrate this moment with me. I have not only done the unthinkable for a girl like me but I have also grabbed the attention of that one person that I had been trying to get close to all my life.
At that time he seemed like the answer to my every question, the solution to my problem, the manifestation of every dream I have ever had, the other half to my soul. Right now even he was looking at me like I had hung the moon.
But still I was not incandescently happy, like I should be right now.
There are over a thousand people here cheering me but my eyes are still searching for that one person.
The one who had been with me through thick and thin.
The one I lost.
The one who was my everything.

I literally came up with the idea for this book yesterday and worked all night on the plot just so I can share it with you all.
