Today is the day that I'm meeting with Niall for coffee. Even though I've just met him, I'm still quite excited to see him again. I probably sound so pathetic saying I'm excited, but I am. I've been in relationships and they never worked out very well. I've just never had much luck finding the right guy.
I looked at the clock, noticing that it's almost time to go. I couldn't decide on what to wear, so I settled with a pair of jeans and a blue top. I did my hair and put it into a simple ponytail. I added a couple bobby-pins to hold back my bangs. Pleased with my outfit, I walked over to my bed and slid on my Shoes. I grabbed my jacket, my bag and my phone and headed downstairs.
Logan was there sitting on the couch with Breanna.
" Where are you going?" Breanna asked.
" Coffee with a friend. What are you guys doing today?" I replied
" Well, I'm going out to lunch with Harry. " Logan stated with a smile.
" And I'm going to the movies tonight with someone." Breanna said looking down.
" And who is this somebody, Bree? " I asked wiggling my eyebrows.
" It's nobody. Just a friend of mine." She said smugly.
" Zayn? " I asked reassuringly.
" How'd you know? "
" Well for one, you've been seeing each other for a month now, and two, he's all you talk about. You kinda gave it away." I chuckled
" Oh. Right." She said. I laughed a little and checked the time again. 1:30. I grabbed my keys off the counter and went to the door.
" See you later, Meggers! Let me know how it went AS SOON AS ITS OVER." Logan rambled.
I gave her an ' Alright I will ' smile and walked out the door.
I began driving to the coffee shop Niall has mentioned and got there in no time, for it was only 5 minutes away. When I parked, I turned off the car and a sigh escaped my lips. I saw Niall's car across from mine and smirked a little.
I'm normally socially awkward, but for some reason, I wasn't like that around Niall. I was glad. I walked in and looked around to find him. He stood up and I immediately recognized him and smiled. I walked to where he was and he smiled brightly.
" Hey! I'm glad you could make it!" He said and gave me a gentle hug.
" I am too! Thanks for inviting me here!' I said and slid into the booth.
" Would you like to order something?" He asked
" Yes, I just want an iced coffee. I'll pay." I said.
" No, let me pay. I'm the guy here. " He laughed and pulled out his wallet.
I never liked allowing someone else to pay for me, I always felt the need to pay. But since he's already got the money handed to the waitress, I guess I'm not paying this time.
He smiled kindly and spoke up finally.
" So, tell me about yourself." He said
" What do you want to know?" I asked
" Anything you wanna tell me! " He said.
I agreed, and began talking to him.

After an hour of sitting and laughing, we got ready to leave.
" I really had a good time today, Niall. Thank you for the coffee." I said and smiled.
" No problem. We should do this more often." He said quite nervously.
" Me too. " I said and looked down at my feet.
" I don't think I got your number yet." He spoke up.
" Here, let me see your phone." I said handing him my phone.
I quickly sent myself a text message from his phone so that he had my number.
" Now you have it!" I said and handed his phone back.
" I'll talk to you later then?" He asked excitedly
I nodded and we walked out together.
He walked me to my car and I leaned up against the door. I had to say something.
" Niall?" I asked
" Yes love?"
" Do you treat all girls this nice?" I asked
" Well, to be honest, I haven't had but two girlfriends in my life. And the last one I had was about 3 years ago. But they didn't really work out. But you're different than the girls I've been with. A good different." He said nervously and looked me in the eyes.
" That was so sweet,Niall." I said
He blushed a little and caused me to smile.
-- Niall's P.O.V. --
My cheeks turned bright red. Wow, I must look pathetic. She smiled, and that immediately made me feel better.
I really did mean it when I said she was different. I really liked her. A lot. The way her eyes sparkled when she laughed, just everything about her made me feel different. Like I had finally found someone who is just like me. Like I found my other half all of a sudden. I couldn't help but smile when I looked at her.
" So.. I'll see you soon?" I asked biting my lip.
She blushed now.
" Yes. I'll see you soon. Thanks again for today. I really had a lot of fun." She said. She lightly pecked me on the cheek and once again, I felt my cheeks turn a new shade of red.
I bit my lip and smiled. I looked back to her as she got In her car.
I couldn't stop smiling no matter how hard I tried. I began walking to my car when my phone vibrated in my pocket.
I looked quickly to see a message from my best friend, Harry.
" Out for lunch with Logan. Hope you and Megan had a good time! See you when I get home. Xx- Haz. "
I read it out loud and smiled. I put my phone back into my pocket and drove back home. I couldn't stop thinking about Megan. I can't wait to see her again. She is really a great girl. She's beautiful, and so is her personality. I finally made my way home and pulled into the driveway. I walked inside and Sat my keys in the key holder. I plopped down on the couch and shut my eyes, the recent memory of Megan kissing my cheek, flooding back. I smiled to myself and leaned my head back on the couch.
